Perhaps 25 episode cap has made it a rushed ending towards the end. Pity. But a great drama for women empowerment and FL character is just the loveliest I have seen so far. The only bone I pick is how the whole drama evolves around such a tight circle of relationship...and why did the sacrifice of a good life for one wicked leg..should be the other way around.

Watched this over Christmas after a long hiatus from Kdrama and am I glad I did.! The army boys, FL brothers and village ladies are hilarious...the ML looked in between of Donnie Yen and William Chan (sorry for my impression as I am not familiar with the current Korean actors) Looking forward to upcoming episodes.

I interpreted it as Xiao En thought Fan Xian was his grandson, an idea implanted years ago by Chen Ping Ping. Yan Bing Yu is perhaps the grandson?

Enjoying this story mix of history, legend, occasional humour and the bit of romance albeit bitter sweet ending.

Struggled with same thoughts...so left this aside a bit and just live on Joy Of Life for now.

You are right...I totally gave up on watching due to her sweet gullible niceness. Just tell me which part the mother in law and sister in law gets their due deserve or repentance.

Never have watched ML before but absolutely got hooked to this quirky drama, with so many bits and dialogue that made me burst out in laughter. Agree with many commentators that ML acting is good, not just a idol. Looking forward to each episode.

I hate the scheming sis in law character, so have dropped t this.

*Rage...resigned to putting this on hold having finished epi 34. So many hatefully disgusting characters, definitely not my cup of tea.

Too happy an ending...never see so much smooching right to the end!

Maybe wait a while to make fast forward more pleasurable as some hateful characters scenes come be skipped. I am already invested in time following this and the plot is just so old century, so just waiting for poetic justice.

FL character has all good attributes and able to take charge to change her fate without too much drama and intrigue. I continue to watch cos of Deng Lun. ML character is getting better. This is first time I watch Li Yi Tong act and since she is going to appear in some other upcoming dramas with several of my other fav actor, will hang on to see how good she is.
