Absolutely agree the few minutes heart breaking scene showed Deng Lun and Ma Shichun great talent in projecting their emotions. Deng Lun did a great crying scene in Ashes of Love too and I like his portrayal in Princess Agent ... his playful eyes so matches the character description of the novel. Ma Shichun is an amazingly versatile actor.

It's going to be super cute from ep33 with YZ/XX/JS. However I think XX initially felt warmed towards JS cos he reminded her so much of her brother. I need another drama to fill in the next few days of waiting!

I'm up to 43 raw and pretty much like you do a re-watch when subs are out as the proverbial nuances are hard to catch. The actors are great with their smooth dialogue and genuine expressions of emotions. Success comes with sacrifice and I believe HZY character is incredibly true to his ambition to just wanting to act, make enough to survive and simply not be just be super famous.
