I hope this drama has a low viewership. why? not because i want it to flop, i just want media houses to recognise that it is not okay to change a bl romance like this when they aren't under the constraints of an lgbt censorship.
Hate Mondays because of college/work but also can't wait for Monday to come because of this show ππ
My timing is just perfect to watch gmmtv shows since I'm a bit behind thai time. I'm home by then and can watch the show AND have the rest of the evening free π
Questions to the audience who have already seen this drama or have atleast finished ep 1......What is FL's financial…
I think it was pretty well explained in episode 2. The Kanasrikul were once a very rich family (and hence the mother always expects shrimps for dinner lol). They become poor and the Alzheimers Min's father also attracts ridicule. The asshole brother (son of Sida) whats-his-name says something like, "look how big their mansion is but it's now in ruins!"
I've read and seen this in media many times before, the riches to rags who can't let go. I found her overall clothing quite toned down, the same accessories again and again. There's just a single maid not only because her mom is not pitching in and Min can't do everything on her own as she has to work, but also because of the same reason, they can't get over the past of having lead a rich life (the mother is particularly struggling and in denial with this. This is why Min's father told her, "if there isn't enough money then tell that to your mother.")
Having said all this, yes they could've toned down on the makeup, we don't need our fl to look carpet ready while going to buy roast chicken, especially when that's not the kind of personality they are trying to portray
The cure part is something lost in translation i guess. The way i understood it is that there is no cure hence he isn't and won't be cured, but yeah the translation might feel a bit ambiguous.
Wow, what a cop out. Everyone knows it's not a proper sponge bath scene if you don't go all the way to the chest line π€·π½ββοΈ learn it from the Thai bls you Noobs!
(Somebody please tell me that dude was not doing what i think he was about to do with the water...)
Quick question: Is Ki Tae taller than Lee Wan? There are some shots where they look more or less the same height…
Ki Tae is taller, but it's not a huge difference . It was a question I had too since height difference is something I dig Moreover, unlike other shows, ods isn't even trying to make it prominent by giving Ki Tae an odious "looming male lead" personality. He's just so chill and laid back
HOW in the world are they both so attractive? jeez..
I find confidence attractive and Ki Tae is epitome of confident gay. Lee Wan is cute, like unbelievably cute not only bc his face, but he is a soft character overall (and the actor has the prettiest eyes)
To get a good kissing scene and not some dead-fish kiss; I take it! The jealousy thing is something that annoys…
This wasn't proper communication? To me improper communication would be if Ki Tae saw Lee Wan with the girl, proceeded to convince himself that Lee Wan was "cheating on him", decided to ghost him and then they drag it out for a week until Lee Wan came begging "oh why oh why art thou so cold to me".
Lee Wan just asked him about it, and I personally thought it was a valid reaction because jealousy is an emotion and it's okay to have felt it and it's good to be upfront and ask your partner about it. Most dramas however take it to a different level and that truly is annoying
only in thailandπ
Abortion, cannibalism, sex with a minor, on screen sex, murder, on screen suicide
Romance + revenge
Very lakorn
