All these people on here complaining about this drama being sad... um this drama is about people in a HOSPICE!!!!…
They may die during their stay at the hospice, but that doesn't mean it's not a happy ending. I felt that this is the point of the series; that dying is not equivalent to a sad ending :)
I love stories which do justice to this theme and the Lion House, with it's guests and kindly family, are doing justice to it. I think we might see Shizuku dying in the end but I have full faith that she will figure out her Lion snack by then :')
6.5/10. We've been having Thai series made on such topics for quite some time now and seeing that this waa released in 2020, it didn't bringing anything new with it.
Yes, the message they wanted to send was a great one but I felt that there could have been more power behind that punch despite the time constraint. Some part seemed plain ridiculous, like the idiotic evil laugh tracks, the cameras in the glasses and how everyone started apologising. These took a notch off the already weak plot.
Thai series like "The Leaked" are trying too hard; there's too much preaching and everything has been diluted and 'dumbed down' for the audience. Constant explanations of the plot which was actually rather simple. The flashback to the Principal's speech....everything was watered down for us to understand easily and there was literally nothing to unpack here or question.
I liked the twist at the end of chapter 3 but there was nothing particularly memorable about "The Leaked."
Officially dropping this show after episode 4. I also saw some feed posts from my mdl friends and I don't like the direction this show is taking.
Look, I absolutely love the bodyguard/rich whiny kid dynamic but this show didn't do justice to it. The one thing which irked me the most is the tropes. I absolutely love tropes. But for an 8 episode series, they needn't have dragged in those two girls. Unnecessary overuse of tropes is just that, unnecessary, and makes for a boring watch.
I won't rate it since I don't rate dropped shows but if I did, I wouldn't give it more than a 4 or a 5.
Why Ying Ying and Korn are perfect for each other: they both care about other people too much and it will be great if they start caring about each other
Why Pat and Noina are perfect for each other: Noina isn't really a fake person but because she wants to be with Korn, she forces herself to be so. Pat is a perfect balance. He sees through everything. Noina wants love and Pat has lots of attention to lavish on her
I think Yoo is being set up either for Wisa or Pang ( I hope it's Pang because 1. I want Pang to find happiness 2. I wouldn't wish Wisa even on my enemy)
I am still curious. The synopsis says that they killed themselves in the middle of their live? But like how? When?... And then she goes to bed and just lies down? I am not saying that that isn't possible but it could have been shown a bit better
There are a lot of filming “mistakes” that bother casual watchers subconsciously without knowing why haha…
Btw your format is really really neat. I wish I could give it two stars, one for the format and one for the content. Some of the articles just hurt my eyes xD
I have always gone *meh* at those 3000 people scenes but I didn't think much about it. this helped me get an idea about how easily that could have been resolved–just a simple parallax shift
Sure! Main couple is Khai×Third Secondary couple is Two×Un The other is Bone×Paan but they don't end up together. Their story is kinda sad (nobody dies, it's just sort of 'when you love someone you let them go' story)
8.5/10
