It's just episode 1 and I'm holding my opinions on this but they need to work on this to make me believe these guys can be together. The last time I saw a good "bully with sad back story" redemption arc was Heart and Li Ming from Moonlight Chicken.
When Heart puts Li Ming on the spot he's behaving as a teenager who's been caught in his lie, a lie which he didn't expect would lead to Li Ming or he wouldn't have done it. He owns to it. And they resolve it in their teenager way and move on to be friends, but this?
Tae Hyun has basically accused him of sexual assault and he did it because otherwise he and his friend would've been in a difficult spot. Would the consequences have been huge had he been caught? I DON'T CARE. If so, he shouldn't have been hooking up in the infirmary at all. People make mistakes, Heart did too, but not only was the magnitude of the crime (that Li Ming was accused for) small, he never meant to harm Li Ming. Tae Hyun willingly went down this path.
At the end of this I just wonder, why didn't he say it was a misunderstanding? He deliberately makes things more complex.
Edit: not to imply Heart was bullying Li Ming, in fact I'm saying the opposite of it. They were the best in every way 🙌🏼
people thinking this is slow, but i think it will pick up later once erng is revealed. we can't have everything happening in ep 1. this was a good intro to the nerd group and the back story

Not miscommunication, Lee wan confesses to Ki Tae, then runs away (because his family shifts), then they're unable to contact each other due to reasons (Ki Tae couldn't bc Lee Wan changed his number, Lee Wan couldn't because he's gay panicked, and they couldn't message bc plot) and then meet 7 years later
So less views on the video, why are they hiding it? Kudos to you for unearthing it ✌🏼

Ah, good ol' gmmtv. Always makes fiery teasers but the end product is very often far from what we'd expected. Sometimes better, sometimes worse
If one day Japan is able to overcome it's anti-korean sentiment and vice-versa, and look past there historical tensions, we might have co-productions that take the best of both into something superb. I myself love japanese series as they are, and I respect K-drama viewers too. Jseries are something unique in terms of aesthetics.
