This was a light reprieve from all the dark shows I'm currently watching :) all of them are so adorable š„°
I didn't really check out the casts so I completely missed Suzuki Jin but seeing him in the episode was so weird~ he looks so different with his red hair here, I saw him in Given and his vibe here is completely different!
As for Ida, such a wholesome guy. He's never had feeling like this before, let alone for another boy, but he's willing to feel this. He wants to judge Aoki for his character even though the suddenness of it threw him off at first :) As for Aoki, great guy, sacrificing himself like that for Hashimoto š
Cute episode, the light blues really cheered me up <3
Yup :) there are many jdramas where the raws can't be found anymore and I wasn't able to sync the soft subs. I had to used fdrama.net but I still thanked the subbber on d-addicts to appreciate their efforts because its their subs that were used :)
My first Japanese drama, where I don't see any yellow filter. Achievement unlocked.
I checked out your watchlist and I see that the majority of Japanese dramas you've watched are bls. Many of those had that yellowish effect but some like Kinou Nani Tabeta don't.
Majority of jdramas don't have that filter. Japanese dramas have brilliant cinematography, particularly NHK and Wowow dramas. They use brilliant camerawork.
I don't know what is your definition of good camerawork, maybe you prefer the expensive sets of kdramas, but jdramas deliver a wide range of meaningful and fun stories with camerawork that effectively conveys it
I have not watched any of these dramas and yet it was a nice read. I read through each paragraph and that tells me that you did a great job on this ^^ I love how you write on such topics and supplement them with images to provide context. I dislike dub-con even more than non-con because while non-con is unconditionally unacceptable, dub-con is also wrong but more difficult to call out.
And I just want to say this, Consent is Hot. This is just my opinion, but knowing and feeling that both (or more) people want the same thing, want to be in a relationship, want to be with each other and do things together is just hotter than forcefully doing it
Guys, there is a kabedon scene here š Since Kiekoi is a bl, there will be lot of viewers who don't watch jdramas usually, hence I'd lke to say that instead of using sites like kissasian or dramacool, please support the original fansubber team @motivateanger They plan to release the subs by Monday/Tuesday and will obviously be the faster source since ks and such sites simply reupload their hard work with their own watermarks.
How did she manage to keep her mom's body in good condition for two months? Thats my only confusion. Her neighbor…
This is a really awesome question. Even around 2-3 weeks after death maggots and bacteria infest the body and there is hair loss. Even just a month would have that effect. So unless there was a freezer involved... where did she hide the body anyway, when Sawaki visited the apartment with her it didn't seem as if the body was in the apartment. The police may have searched there too. Quite a loophole you've spotted.
If you're thinking of avoiding Garasu no Ashi because of child abuse then I'd advise looking into this once again. Yes there is heinous domestic violence in Garasu no Ashi, I had no idea bruises could look like that, but the way the characters emerge strong, as tall as reeds which sway in the gust, reeds of glassāit was worth the watch.
I gave it a 9.0/10. It felt so authentic and warm, as if I were seeing genuine people on screen, maybe I was because hikikomori is a real disorder of social withdrawal. A beautiful series from start to finish.
5.5/10 Very Liar Game-ish. Creepy dummy. A game of betrayal. Debts. Money. Considering that both the manga and the drama were released much after Liar Game, this might be the case.
And its not just the premise, even the dialogues like the popular, "we will use any means necessary," were the same.
Nevertheless there were some plotholes and the story was quite weak. This was a pre-film release so it should lay a proper background so the films might be better.
Enjiya is an unassumingly humorous tale of revenge poking at the depravity of human natureāat how humans deliberately choose evil time and again. Do humans really change?
The very absurdity of the existence of Enjiya and the bewildering nature of the occupation adds some morbid humor to the darker subtext of the plot. The romance was subtle but it was there. Also, the found family trope is at its best here. A family that plays (or exacts vengeance) together, stays together. ;)
I guess I have to watch this on one of my dumb days š, I pretty much dropped it after 2 episodes and now I have to trudge though it somehow because NO Dropping :') Jimmy's acting really is very flat

There's another subbed video linked in the comments but they just spontaneously did it and may not continue for episode 2.

8.0/10. This needs a second season.
Jimmy's acting really is very flat
