It's not something Anyone should "Enjoy." ITS RAPE. And should NEVER be used as a vehicle for a Romance. FULL…
Um okay, since you are cancelling the opinions of anyone who is not an adult let me start out by saying that I am an adult
Now yes, there is something called consensual rape sexual roleplay but your phrasing makes it seem like you're confusing bdsm and rape fantasy and the biggest distinction between both: consent.
The description doesn't look like rape roleplay at all. Role-play is consensual, whatever happened here—or is going to happen here judging from the description—is clearly not. If it isn't consensual, it is wrong. If something non consensual is romanticize, it is wrong.
I won't argue whether it is right or wrong to seek out romanticized rape and watch it, but everyone here on mydramalist (and on the internet in general) can comment (or 'whine' as you call it) as much as they want.
That synopsis isn't helping my first impression at all but I'm interested in seeing what they do with it but I'm not exactly eager to watch it, it looks like romanticization of rape. But I don't want my first impression to cloud my judgement :/
Okay but did I spot lesbians in episode 13? Those two ladies were leaning in too close And then Ping told Tin that 'girls are more open minded than him.' Props to the showmakers for making such a great series with gay/bi/pan characters and to MIRROR for portraying them and for being so open
That was such a creative way to propose and I’m living for it! I’m sad that there’s only one more episode,…
I don't think so. The one Japanese one needed a sequel imo because it didn't end with them completely showing enough progression in their relationship. Hong Kong did the time apart conflict already (Haruta went abroad in the second part but Tin is already doing that by going to Taiwan) HK ver. has also shown lots of development and ups and downs in their relationship ready
No, it's the same story but with a Hong Kong setting and cast
There wasn't any Ossan's Love released in 2016 to my knowledge. 2018 is the original Japanese one. 2019 is it's sequel. 2021 is this one, the hk adaptation It's kind of hard to say which is better. The Japanese and Hong Kong versions have a different vibe and Hong Kong added lots of new things in terms of dialogue and some of the storyline has been altered near the end. HK has a more cohesive storyline. But the Japanese one was more—idk it had that particular Japanese effect which is hard to reproduce
This ark was there but the Francesca and Louis scene you're talking about was all Hong kong
Both In the og the cafe scene was actually an old fashioned Japanese restaurant/eatery The cosplay wasn't even there in the og (I liked it because it somehow showed Francesca's youthful side but simultaneously how mature she was) and the dialogue after that was all Hong Kong
EP 12: dailymotion.com/video/x82o3c1Ok, so contrary to some of the previous comments, the trip wasn't a dream. So…
Siu Muk did it because he believes it would be good for Tin, he doesn't have any excuse to give to explain all this to Tin. He thinks Tin isn't happy with him or won't be in the future and do what he thought was Noble
And Tim being good with kids wasn't a 'new' development, not for Tin anyway. Like Ping said, Tin has always wanted kids and it's noticeable in his interact with Ryan too. Siu Muk's break up was kind of explained better here than in the og
I feel some people are going too far with their comments about this show. It is not perfect but seeing such strong…
Hong Kong's entertainment industry is largely over shadowed by China where cheaper and worse movies and series will get a larger viewship simply because of the larger population. Not to mention Hong Kong is Cantonese. I don't think people understand what a huge step this adaptation is for Hong Kong I'm pleasantly surprised by this series and I love it no matter what anybody says
Haha in the group he's shipped with someone else XD
The two most common shippings in Mirror are are Keungson (Keung To and Anson Lo) and Jerdan (Jer Lau and Edan Lui) It's actually kind of interesting that instead of going with a shipped pairing, they went picked one from each xD I think Anson is the most shipped because he's kind of considered the face of the group and Edan is naturally goofy :p
where is the synopsis from? Or did a user write it? I really like the way the synopsis is written :)
It's from the English description of the manga. I believe users can't write their own synopsis, don't they have to submit a legitimate source? Or maybe they can and I've never seen it but nevertheless this is from the manga itself
