Off note maybe but the description of this list is really cool, I mean when people start comparing a rom-com to a psychological thriller with a bit of romance, it's so ridiculous. Or when every show is compared to ITSAY. Rom coms should be judged on what they're meant to be.

I'm actually finding it hard to believe that Mean directed this but if he did, then props to him. It's a known fact that many homophobic cast and crew work in the production of lgbt+ series so I'll just overlook Mean and concentrate on the series.

I personally don't think the council is completely pointless (it's where the gayness happens after all ;) but that's what they themselves say in the game anyway XD
And yeah, Yushin can be seen in Shiwon because he called the police and there's the similar crackhead nature too but I felt he's written as a love interest for Sohee
Jaerim would be difficult to depict on screen too

Apart from Shin woo and Da on, there's a useless dude Yushin and a guy who talks only via text, Jaerim. The student council is pretty much useless except during school fests and stuff (I hope they do that in the series, if so, we'll get to see Tae kyung in a really cool costume ;)
