It's getting interesting. Still far from perfect or even good, but an entertaining pass time for those who don't mind all these clichés.

Still I cringed hard in some scenes.

I don't know about this one yet. I love Kim So Hyun but why is it that since Let's Fight Ghost, they keep giving…
I know it sounds strange, but in Korea her age is actually different. I don't really know how to explain this but currently she's 20 in South Korea. Here's an article on DramaFever about korean age:

https://www.dramafever.com/pt/news/how-to-find-your-korean-age/

So in the end this is more a cultural thing. She's already 20 in SK, so from now on her career will focus on more "mature" roles. That does not mean that she can't do a school or college drama (look at Lee Min Ho for example lol).

I studied about radio once, and now I know why some people are annoyed when their field is so lazely portrayed on dramas, be it medicine, psychology, law and now media. The errors I've found are grotesque to say the least. I've never seen such badly written (and hosted) programs. But that I guess anyone can notice lol

However, I must admit that putting that aside (also the clichés and general corniness), it's entertaining in a odd way. I don't know how I put it...but this drama has a good vibe to it. At least for me.

Hope they push it more to the slicey of life side, without much melodrama but not completely lighthearted either.

Also, people who have issues with the age gap can rest assured: there will be no romance between the two main leads. And, in my humble opinion, this was the best choice. I'm saying this not because the gap bothers me, actually I don't mind that, but it will be more interesting to see the development of a bond between two unusual friends rather than a romance. His experience plus her youth would be a good contrast.

I *know* this drama is far from perfect...I know all it's faults. Am I weird that I still love it anyway? I'm…
LSG made that haircut work. Seriously, when I first saw the teasers I was like: "what did they do to his hair??" Now it makes him even hotter.

Also, I agree. This is really flawed but I like it anyway haha It's the first drama I accompanied from the moment it was announced.

This sounds dark and sexy (plus it has a tragedy tag, I love tragedy), so I'll be sure to check out. As for Joy getting the lead role...hmmm, honestly never saw her acting so I can't say much, but I agree there are plenty of underrated actor/actresses who almost never get leads.

That does not mean idols can't be good actors though. Let's wait and see.

Maybe not everybody's cup of tea (that's the only explanation for it to have a slightly low rating I can find) but it was very good. One of the best movies I've seen this year.
On The Journey 2 Feb 10, 2018
I basically stopped watching all the other dramas on my list just to binge this one. It was so much fun! I mean, yeah it's pretty corny, over the top, the effects are sometimes laughable and the acting feels so...iffy.

But like I said: it was fun. You'll have fun watching, because in the end this is like the cheesiest YA novel turned to life (which is kinda to be expected since it IS based on a novel. Plagiarism issues aside.)

I give this a 8/10
On A Love So Beautiful Feb 7, 2018
I've been putting this aside because particularly I can't stand "Itazura Na Kiss" kind of stories. However, after reading so many comments on how this one twists things or at least isn't annoying, I'm tempted to give it a try.

Title With You
It's a feel-good, cute drama. A good watch for those who are looking for something light, maybe after watching a heavier piece.

I'm 2 episodes in and thinking about dropping this drama. So far the leading lady is getting on my nerves with…
Well, I can't say anything. After all if you want to drop, drop it. Not everybody will like the same thing, so don't bother even if the high ratings tell you otherwise.

However, as someone who watched and liked it, all I can say is that it gets better. All the personalities are unique and hilarious in their own way. Also, the female lead gets less annoying and more insightful. Actually, it may not look like it now, but she has a pretty good backstory too.

That's all I can say however, dropping it or not is up to you. And even if you don't like, that's okay. Fighting!

This drama is pretty cute and funny. It's been a while since I watched a chinese drama and this one seems like a lighthearted, good ride so far, especially for me who just finished a heavier school drama.
On A Korean Odyssey Feb 5, 2018
I wonder which kind of ending this one will have. Obviously a happy one would be cool, but a tragic end...I don't know, the idea just attracts more lol

Or maybe a bittersweet one.

In the end I think popularity wins over quality on these kind of polls. However, overrated does not exactly mean something is bad. I have to admit I'm yet to watch Goblin, so I don't have any opinion, but still, I agree with many below: there were other good dramas that deserved an award. Obviously in the end one can't satisfy everybody, but it would be good to see more diversity.

Also I've noticed a pattern on the previous year's awards: the most popular dramas were also the ones winning most categories. In 2016 there was mostly a tie between DOTS and Moon Lovers, in 2015 it was Healer, in 2014 was You Who Came From the Stars, only '13 and '12 there wasn't much of it.

As I've watched most of these, I have to say some deserved an award however they were also not the only ones who could fill the bill in many categories. Actually, as much as these I talked about were good, they were also pretty overrated in my opinion.

I decided to watch this last Christmas because I'm a sucker for psychological and thrillers as well (also there was the pure irony of watching it on the holiday). And I pretty much agree with you, the drama had a nice idea and a good question, but ended executing everything poorly.

The twists that were supposed to leave me on edge were just "meh" and purely predictable. The characters were interesting but the acting was just so...apathetic that I ended up feeling the same, with a few exceptions obviously.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to watch this. I got to the part where the little girl has her umbrella in class…
Actually the teacher ghost is the only I've been creeped out, the other ghosts are far less scary, so I think you can keep on watching if you want.

A good start but gets repetitive really quickly. Seriously, it got to the point that I actually started to prefer the girl to stay with the coach.

If this was real life (or a realistic drama), Baek Ho would end up having to move on after all. Which doesn't even seem like an option here, he glosses over for a moment but then starts self loathing. It gets irritating, mainly when he has the right opportunity but does nothing.

However, I have to admit I liked how the drama handled love. In love, even the littlest of things matters.
