I love the way they wrapped up the whole murder arc in ep 15 and just focus on the main leads and other side characters in ep 16. No rush, heavy ending. Just a warm, fluffy final episode.

The fight scenes in this drama has always been great but the fight scenes in the last few episodes are breathtaking especially when the Gong family finally joined hands and fight together instead of fight with eo.
The comedy in this drama is TOP TIER 😂 like... The way when the turned from serious scenes to comedy were too funny and unexpected especially with gzs. She's a gem. I will re watch this just for the comedy.
Out of all the actors, I am only familiar with 3 faces. Others are new to me but i cant help but fall in love them. They all nailed their characters so well. Young master Yue eye gaze killed me every time! Young master Xue, despite the actor's young age, but his fight scenes are astounding.

Ep 1-14 were 10/10 ... 15-30 were barely 6/10 ... it became so boring at some point. Lack of romance, so much…
agreed that ep 1-14 were 10/10!!! That's why my expection for this drama was very high. It looked very promising. How I wish they dragged out the high school plot a bit more.I really thought this was going to be my no2 favorite cdrama this year.
Suddenly it become a sport-slice of life drama. I mean, nothing wrong with those genres, but the way they just threw away the romance was so frustrating to watch. And its not just about being intimate with eo. But i feel like the main leads had less screentime together after the second half as they shifted the main focus on the shooting plot which became draggy and boring (although zyr look so hot when holding gun lol)
Like you said, there are other cdramas with same romance+sport+slice of life genres and very light romance but they were very well executed and well balanced.
But still, i love shen juan and lin yujing so much They are both a green flag. I love how healthy and mature their relationship is despite their young age and I enjoyed all their talks and conversations. I'm happy that they found comfort and happiness in each other.
