For some drama, i can accept, predict, prepared for the 'tragedy' ending like snowdrop or uncontrollably fond or youth of may or one & only (cdrama).
But for 2521, i cant. That's why im avoiding any theories, pre released clips or any still cuts. Sometimes i even avoided next ep preview. I don't want to get my hopes too high because so far, the writer kept hinting about the upcoming tragedy. I don't know if they want us to prepare for it, or just purposely misled us. But i also don't want to be disappointed. We only got 6 episodes left, and i feel like its going to be super packed with heartbreaking scenes. "Theyfall in love at 25 & 21". From ep 11 preview, seemed like they still in their current age, so im guessing things will start going wrong at the end of ep 11. Time jump? Seperated then reunite again? Fa in love again? Then officially get together? Then something big will happen??

Back when the drama still airing, I wanted to wait until the drama almost end before start watching. But then i read lots of negativities about this drama. And i read about people dissatisfaction towards the ML & FL and having second lead syndrome, and the younger SL is my nam dareum? So I decided to ditch the drama, because i dont want to be stuck in the middle. I don't want to have to choose between 15 years old fake nam dosan, or the real nam dosan. I don't want to choose be nam joohyuk or kim seon ho. And i dont like the idea the idea of people pretending to be someone else. I thought its going to be like drama she was pretty. So i didn't watch it.
Fast forward to today, nam joohyuk's new drama 2521 is currently airing. I still see unpleasant comments about nam joohyuk especially about his character in start up. People said his acting is stiff and awkward, that he didn't deserves to be with Dalmi. And people said his acting is always the same in all of his dramas. I watched almost all his dramas, and i can confidently say that that is not true at all. His acting has improved over time. I never found his acting stiff or awkward (believe me i know what bad acting looks like). Being cute, serious, matured, depressed, happy go lucky, sad..he delivered them all very well.
Back to start up, I just finished marathoning until ep 9...and...i am on nam dosan side all the way. I don't want to commen on his charac much but I love his interaction with dalmi a lot. I do believe that dosan deserves to be with dalmi. They support and comfort each other. Meanwhile with han jipyong, his interaction with dalmi doesn't have the spark(?). Like, i dont feel his love for dalmi (or not yet). None of their interaction have any romance but just casual. Just merely helping dalmi for grandma's sake. And maybe saw the potential in them. Yes he wrote those letters, but he barely remember her. Unlike dalmi whos head over heals to the person who wrote her the letters. So that's why i don't feel sorry that dalmi choose dosan over him. And sometimes im annoyed with this character, especially when he criticized and belittle nam dosan.
I feel bad for dosan a lot too. He's just forced and caught in the middle. For the first time in a long time, he found the breakthrough of his life. He didn't pretend to be someone else because of greedy or take advantage of others. But because he loves dalmi and he has the same vision and goals as dalmi. He wants to be successful with her, help her every step of the way.
Sometimes reading comments before watching the actual drama can be misleading, and kill the mood. I regret not watching this drama before. I didn't know this drama is super super funny
Im sorry but i cannot feel sorry for yerim at all. After ep 7, i cannot sympathize with her anymore. Even though i like jiwoong's character, but now every time I rewatch other episodes, i will skip yerim screentimes. And even though she will get character development and become close to heedo after this, i still wont like her
I feel so bad for Hee Do 😭 it was supposed to be the happiest day for her, but 😭😭😭 she was traumatized, shamed, questioned.
I literally cried buckets with her when she cried in that restaurant. Finally someone comforting her, support her, ACKNOWLEDG HER WINNING. I was hoping for yijin to comfort her first (dudeeee do you really have to do that? Lecture her when the whole world is already criticizing her ughhh)
I just finished watching this and omgg it keeps bothering me on how ZSC died. I still can't get over it because it's so ridiculousss. I know the ending before i started this but i didn't expect him to be killed so suddenly and so easily. After all the sacrifices he made, the hell he went through...and he died just like that???
I am never a fan of historical drama. That's why at first i didn't have any intention to watch this especially…
And the ending. Tragic ending is okay, but im not quite 'satisfied' with the way ZSC died. I feel like his death is too pitiful and too sudden. I didn't expect him to die so 'easily'

But after reading comments, after a loooong deliberation, i decided to watch this And now I can't stop crying 😭😭😭 It's beautiful but too heart wrenching. Now im rewatching for the 2nd time and every time i look at ZSC and CSY my eyes will get teary because they deserve better 🥺
And RJL's character in this drama is so charismatic! I always know that RJL is so good looking, and I always prefer him with bangs, but his look in this drama is too gorgeous!! Especially when he's in his armor suit, leaving for battle 😍 shuài shuài shuài But...this drama would be 10x better if we could have RJL's own voice as ZSC 🥺
