I'm pretty sure Tang Yi is just gay. He never shows any interest to any female character (granted there were not many) but also, he's had a thing for a male escort (which turned out to be his best friend's boyfriend, so that ended up being really confusing) But there definitely was *zero* female love interest for him. But like you said this probably needs a careful rewatch for a definite answer.
Really gald to see that the series has not been cancelled in the end, however it very much looks like EVERYTHING has been redone from scratch and I feel really bad for the entire crew. But very thankful

For this series they will continue to release on YouTube. It's quite disappointing when they tease us on YouTube and then let us high and dry. I still haven't managed to finish Happenstance which looked quite promising... This one is just going through a little bit of a delay, not too sure why though.
