This series is very nice on many levels: 1. Love how the perspective of a fan is presented. Na Ae Jun is a fan through and through and he knows fantasies are just that. He tried to not indulge in them but also has hope for more especially when the words are uttered by the object of his admiration. His awkwardness and stiffness is how I imagine many people may react when in front of their idols. It is a good reminder of the real, in my opinion, gap that will never shift between a fan and the idol. I admire them through a screen or irl through concerts, fanmeets but idk them.
2. Choi Si Yeol's persona as an idol and as someone in love with his band mate is beautiful. IRL, we don't know who is our bias' lover, crush, person they wanna protect and while they have a persona where they are not sharing these information, they atill very much have a special someone. I hope they have one that brings them joy and happiness like they do to their fans through their art. HOWEVER, him using Na Ae Jun to get back at the person who hurt his crush is what I remind myself all the time. Admiring a stranger means you only know what they show. IDK them and what Choi Si Yeol is doing is disgusting imo. You dont play with others. Whether he wants to hurt Na Ae Jun's best friend like that or not. Am aware he doesn't know everything and his feelings could be getting the best of him, but it does not excuse hurting others.
I can go along with all the rest of this story, except where Alan betrays them all to avoid surgery because he…
I agree with your vies regarding Alan and his choice. I was utterly annoyed when I watched the episode where he opted to go to Tony, have that 'type of procedure' done and all that just to avoid a surgery. I really loved his character and this frankly seemed out of character. However, I cannot know the 'thoughts' that he may have had when he had to come to terms with the surgery, recovery, fear of losing his family again, so I try to rationalise. Jeff being occ also felt weird. I can understand he grew from that fearful teen into a young adult who has more trust in his partner and therefore, is less inclined to be suspicious but given his previous powers and the consequences linked with it; it feels weird that he did not think of anything when he was told the truth. It's as if Jeff is in a trance or instead, does not love his Lung as much as he was presented to love him.
I really want a happy ending for Kim and Kenta. Like not even romance wise. I just want Kenta to get someone for him. He has never had anyone for himself. Knowing how much Kim cares for him, it would be nice to see them together and Kenta know how much he is also important to someone else.
1) I am a bit new to the BL world, so I didn't recognize Mix, but I knew the person was a GMMTV actor because…
Yes, it seems like Tam maybe vhose this option to also protect himself. Cause he did not want to hurt Phi and also to maybe chase his own goals. For Nudhee and Gie, am still on the fence on what is gonna be the outcome cause it seems a bit weird and messy either way la. Like if they end up together or not, its gonna be weird cause Gie literally abandoned Yong before their wedding and Nudhee is quite protective of her brother. But as you said, they all grew and Yong and Gie definitely give the vibes of comfort to one another, one where there is no resentment and not necessarily meaning a back together. But let's wait and see.
MDL doesn't have a poll option within the comments but here it is. Even I don't know if, on a personal level,…
E. They should forgive one another. I mentioned my opinion in another comment but for me, it is a lack of communication that led to this. Tam wanted to be there for Phi to the point of being his shield/hero. However, as you mentioned, Phi could have followed him given how he was near giving up. This toughened Phi but it was not the best way to deal with that. Phi, more often than not, mentioned how he wants Tam to talk to him more and be honest. Tam now is doing just that and while we don't see it, maybe there were hints of that in their relationship even before. So for me, they both have to forgive one another and themselves too. Then, depending on how it evolves, they get to be together and grow as individuals and a couple.*Sorry for the rant. I just really love how they present real complex relationships with so much depth and beauty in the flaws of people.
I really enjoyed ep 7. 1. Mix's cameo as his irl job apart from acting was just so nice. 2. Tawan's reason for breaking up with Phi is one I understand and also don't at the same time. He wanted him to succeed but how did he think that was the best approach. I'm a bit confused on how he felt this was a good idea. This is an example of where communication is necessary to maintain any relationship. If he had spoken about this with Phi instead of just actioning on his behalf, then, the outcome would have been different. Spoiler* Afterall, if Tawan had always tried to make it easy for Phi by helping him, Phi showed him how he grew, even if that was somewhat a forced outcome of the breakup (The vet scene where Phi asking Mix's character how to care for Sosay) 4. Am also a bit weirded out by the relationship between Gie, Yong and Nudhee. At some point, I thought they were hinting a potential GL but I also still had in mind how these two nearly became sis-in-laws and therefore, that explained a lot about their closeness. Now, I feel like we either gonna get a exes back together second stage cause Tam and Phi are exes too. or we gonna get, a growth of some sort where there is a platonic comfort between Yong and Gie and I won't mind either. It is not a bad thing when relationships don't turn out the way one expected but that type of bond is everlasting.
Soooo, I loved the 2 episodes that released and I love Kanade's character. Mashiro, I only have two questions, is he a puppy? and what's up with that at the end man? Is the girl he was saying I miss you too to his ex or someone from his family or something complex? The cliffhanger is not cool. Am eager to watch the next episodes though. A really nice beginning to this summer season.
Soooo, this latest episode was shocking. I really enjoyed it. Tawan is such a tease but Pi is on another level. They like that fire, going back and forth with the teasing, tension and anticipation. Pi was turned on by Tawan's seduction but Tawan was gobsmacked when he returned it. Bro loves his Pi and is gonna suffer next episode. Pi is still not over Tawan but Tawan's memory trove is screaming ILY to Pi. Next episode is gonna be hell for Tawan I feel. Also side note, for Gie and Nudee, it feels complicated. Gie seems like she has some attraction to Nudee but is it only a reflection of their closeness in the past. She was, after all, going to be her sister-in-law. I just feel a bit weird about the way their relationship is being presented. I hope there's no heartbreak or awkwardness in their relationship. Love their characters. 2nd Side note: Hope Ta got better. Poor guy was very sick.
I am loving this series with each new episode. Though, what is up with these product placements? Like geez, I forgot to take my protein powder and boom, in the car, this big container?!🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️While for Top Form, the first episode itself made me want more this one started meh for me. It was nice but I did not catch on but the 2nd episode already was better. Now halfway till the end, it is becoming more interesting. I love the second leads more and Mawin and Keen are relatable: One wants to make his father proud, the other wants to avenge/help those who helped him. Itt/Ait is suspicious but his bond with Mawin and especially the reliance both have on each other is blatant and I really want them to be open as Keen and Than are.
There are some issues with this series. Beyond the plot and weird pairings, epi 5 presented sexual assault and truly skipped over the fact that r*pe is not accepted. Consent is not a given, it is a choice and as the subs were very intelligible in the fast tracked episode, I was not able to understand whether that aspect was addressed However, the way the characters interacted especially the assaulter, it seemed like there was an attempt at romanticising the whole situation. So, am gonna be the trigger warning and tell people, please beware before watching. It is very messy and these scenes need to be well presented with the copious triggers to be applied.
Now onto the episode, so this 1st episode was quite a good episode. I especially enjoyed the scene where Padtaphi is actually facing the consequences of his actions. Being a bully anywhere is a big no in my book and him facing the consequences of his actions - Him being seen, and made responsible for his actions was satisfying. Am eager to know if his stubbornness and hot headedness will evolve positively. Am very curious of that and have to say, the series scream growth and accountability with a side of real issues in it. After all, the setting is news.
So, I have been reading the primary comments and while I was not their fan since their debut (was not a BL watcher then), I have since educated myself on how they paved the way for the BL industry to an extent. I have come to appreciate their interactions and how they have grown from their young and popular self to their adult and more role model like self. They made mistakes and have taken the step to correct their past which is to be expected from anyone, no matter they be a public figure or not.
Ngl, this series has good NCs and ngl again, we, for most, are following the series for those scenes BUT am really annoyed about Sorn's character. The actor portrays that character very well. I can't get over the feeling that he is manipulating and stressing Jun more than anything. The scene in epi 4 when Jun was scolded bcoz Sorn wanted to joke pissed me off. He is the adult, that is a workplace and he is interfering with Jun's internship for what? His entertainment, his crush on him. If u like the guy, show it to him. Don't act like a growling caveman who only takes and never gives. Yeah sure, he showed he cares for him but this behaviour (cold, hot) is teenage behaviour not adult. He better get his ish together. This seriesshowed through the trailer a messy relationship and that is what I got. This show is delivering on that aspect. So, hope this changes for the better.
This series has me in a chokehold. Am gonna cry so much with the upcoming episodes. I watched the anime and given how the plot evolves, the crying sessions are gonna be hard. Especially because of how Boom embodies Akin in his acting and how Smart delivers his role as Jin. I'm not prepared for the ending which seems so soon.
So, the adaptation so far is so good. Episode 4 was hot, sweet and also a nightmare. As much as I was enjoying the tension, my head was stuck on what a sticky situation and mess to clean afterwards. I had a hard time focusing on the scene at the beginning, we could not see Jin's eyes behind his bangs. I remember in the manga and anime, it was the same but here, it seemed like too much. I was so hoping a gust of wind would happen and move his hair a bit. Junta's eyes made that scene so much more intense and I was looking for that here.
Also, how does P'Boom end up being this cute and so Takato like????? That is a fantastic representation of Takato. Smart is Jin/Jun😅😅 The sassy, possessive and scary Junta is being represented so well
As much as I enjoy EarthMix and rom com, the over the topness here, killed the vibe sometimes. Overall, I appreciated the series. Earth and Mix are really funny irl in their goofy interactions and the series embodied that but it lost its romance point for me. There was not the love that you can still feel in other romcoms. It was more of a gag. Sure, we did have a few quite romantic scenes but in the ending, it went full on, comedic chaos mode which ruined the ending imo.
Hi, I'm just sharing my opinion here on the matter I saw mentioned quite a few times on the net and even here. I am not trying to offend anyone and I hope it does not come across as an offence. I am however, also pointing out the truth and therefore, if anyone feels attacked, please feel free to just not take my opinion at heart. So, I became a fan of the pairing Krist and Singto long after Sotus and Sotus S aired. I enjoyed their dynamics as Arthit and Kongpob and for years, I just associated their faces with these beloved characters. When this series was announced, I was ecstatic as I would now be in the fandom since the start of the series. They are both very talented individuals and I hope they shine through in this series as they do in their other works.
However, I also discovered the toxic side of the fandom when this series was announced. I never understood how one could be so in their own minds that fantasies reserved to the characters somewhat should apply to the actors. I hope this series does not end up feeding into any toxic fan requests while also keeping it real as per the story line presented in the trailer.
I actually really enjoy the series. As a BL series enthusiast, I often watch all types of plots to just enjoy the BL dynamic in different genres. Here, am actually enjoying learning more about nature, seeing and admiring the magnificent sceneries and just being one with nature. The series gives us breathtaking views about nature and Thailand's beauty.
SPOILER AHEAD:
Coming to the plot, I actually understand both Hem and Fifa. I was Fifa a few years ago when I started venturing out into the working life and just being faced with common obstacles, it is overwhelming and in an attempt to make others see we can do the work, we make more mistakes. I feel for him. When it comes to Hem, I feel like he is a bitter individual with a past that explains most of that bitterness. He found comfort and solitude in nature. Nature became his safety net/blanket and also, what nature provided to him in terms of solace, he is now giving it back through protection, respect and preserving the harmony. So, I understand why he is adamant in making Fifa understand that but also, he doesn't know how to do that.
Episode 2 was actually scary and I felt worried for the person who ended up eating the wrong food. Fifa made a huge mistake and the way this repercussed in this episode (epi 3) was nice. He learnt that words are just empty promises, actions are the real tool to showing one's honesty and determination.
Overall, for the 3 episodes that were released so far, I feel like it is just a real life story with a hint of romance. The focus is on growth and the shift from teen to adult life for Fifa, discovering and shouldering one's self, learning about responsibilities, priorities, being an adult and for Hem, it is facing his past. When he said that Fifa reminds him of his past self, it was like he was looking into a mirror. And, am less interested about a potential romance and more interested in how they grow and heal.
This series is a gem for me. Personally, I really enjoyed the ins and outs of the entertainment industry presented here. The fluffy with reality elements made this series worth watching and waiting for. The talent of LYKN made me gasp. All the songs are on my playlist. The slap to the face that is the song Who Says is just gold. I really enjoyed the plot addressing toxic fandoms and idols' emotions and feelings. The humane and human parts amde this series especially touching. The entertainment industry is not all roses and this series is definitely not the first to cover that but the way it is presented is real without the extent of the harshness presented through images. We understand the message. I hope others will find the series appealing😁😁
