I started it for Chae Soobin too! It seems that people enjoyed it way better than Police University (which I didn't watch). Honestly, if you like a cutesy yet balanced romance with some strong friendship dynamics and some nice twists and turns, I think you'll like it! I can say it made me laugh but also cry... Many people criticized Kang Daniel's role but considering the way his character was written, I think he did a good job. Specially considering it was his first role as an actor and as male lead, on top of that. His chemistry with Soobin was also pretty good, imo. Second couple is also quite nice and you'll get some nice kisses from both couples hehehe

Yeah, I'm also under the same impression. Same day/time slot and terrible marketing. I had that feeling with Rookie Cops too. Everyone that watched and is watching seems to enjoy them pretty much, still the number of viewers and the ratings don't add up. Not to mention that Hotstar is an Indian streming service operated by Disney+ but it's pretty much only available on SE Asian countries. That leaves me wondering why Disney decided to enter the kdrama production if they're gonna do such an awful job advertising it and making it available to pretty much the whole world.
As far as I understand it, Hotstar is an Indian streming service operated by Disney+, but apparently Hotstar has…
You're very welcome! I don't have a Disney+ subscription and even the dramas on Netflix take too long to be finally available. So that one is my go-to site for dramas all the time . Specially because it's fine to use adblock there too ^^
Where is this airing? It shows Disney+ but it's not here in the US. Is it just overseas? Thanks.
As far as I understand it, Hotstar is an Indian streming service operated by Disney+, but apparently Hotstar has been discontinued in the US and other countries. I believe its streaming service only works on SE Asian countries now...
Ok give me some dramas where you actually care about characters and you are sad that you are leaving them already…
Hm, I don't really know if this might be what you'd expect, and some you might even have watched already... But the dramas where I felt myself immersed both with the story and pretty much all characters were probably Just Between Lovers, Home Town Cha Cha Cha, My Roommate Is a Gumiho, Run On, Itaewon Class, Because This Is My First Life, Fight For My Way, Go Back Couple, Neechan no Koibito
same, I don't like the ending. like bruv, WE DIDN'T GET ANY ANSWERS to who is min chaes dad but maybe there will…
I'm really serious when I write this: I knew we were given an older NHD version but not a BYJ one, not even in the cast. So I indeed had a feeling they could not be end-game. On the other hand, though, we could still have a happy ending for them without seeing his older version. Like, he could be traveling for professional reasons or something?! Like the so-called husband of hers is? But no, BYJ was too busy with his job but her husband that was never seen isn't! *loud sight* Like I said, they could not be end-game, because honestly, first loves almost always never last. It could still have that nostalgic feeling of remembering youth, friendships and first loves... It could still be a bittersweet story, as long as they gave us a reasonable ending.
P.S.: Seconds seasons are so rare for kdramas... I don't really think we'll have one, sorry.
This just feels bitter. It reminds me of Monthly Home Magazine. Why ruin the entire thing in the very last episode?! Honestly, the ending did this entire show wrong. It deserved so, so much better. Not because of how the two of them ended up or not, but because the reasons behind it not only didn't make sense, the outcome is actually contraditory to them. I know we all suspected from the start how it could turn out for the main couple, they gave us that much. But considering the development of the story, they also gave us quite the possible and plausible reasons for the desired ending that everyone (I believe) watching this show hoped for, while making us fall for every single part of the plot and characters as well. If they never intended to give it and us that ending, which would still be totally fine and realistic, the very least they could give us was also a very plausible and acceptable reason for it. Not this mess...
Rating this one an 8 in regards of all the other 15 episodes that I believe deserved way more than that. Had they given it an ending fitting of the curse of the entire drama, I would have given it a final 9.5. That's how great I was finding this drama.

You're welcome! I edited the list and added a few more. I actually wonder if you'd find some of them "healing". I also included those that gave me the "fee-good" vibe, which I find to be also "healing" in a way :)
