in Italy, my country, consent age is 14 year for every situation that does not involve a strong influence of the person over 18 on the minor (no teacher of any kind, mentor, tutor, babysitter etc.) and is 16 for every other situation that doesn't involve payment of any sort (also expensive gifts can be considered payment btw). Many of my friends had boyfriends or sexual relationship with people older than 18 when they were 15. So to me is strange to consider somebody as a non sexual being till 18 as a general principle. Maybe because in my country is almost considered strange to not have had sex yet at 18? or at least that was the case when I was 18 (I was one of the strange ones but I am asexual so...)

Even though I hate ehat he did and I am extremely disappointed, I am not sure it makes sense to change cast. I always find it pretty confusing when it happens and is really difficult to recreate the same chemistry between actors. To me it would make much more sense, also for his personal growth to give conditions for a recast. Like, I don't know, he should volunteer in centers that take care of rape victims etc. This is also my general point of view on punishment for criminals, like jail if it's only thought as a punishment generally doesn't make you a better person, re-education does...
