Me too but I don't understand what happened, all the chemistry and the good things I saw in the 0 episode disappeared, i don't understand if they changed production company, director or whatever but it's not working for me, anyway I think you should give it a try and create your own opinion!

It's triggering but It gave muche realness to the whole scene, there is a prisoner that got a bowl of freshly made noodles and there is a guy holding him captive and torturing him that is a broken mess, nobody in a situation like that would have cared about the noodles spilling or cooking a new plate or changing the bed sheets and that's exactly what they did, they went on without caring. i'm asking myself if it was planned or if it was an accident, anyway it was a good accident.

If KP was actually realistic in the mafia context, it would also been worse. But yeah since they described Kinn as somebody that cares for his people that doesn't quite makes sense. I'm not saying they should cry or be sad all the time but a small scene of a funeral could have been done to show respect.

I think there are many problems with Check Out, the music and the photography of the sex scene is pretty bad for me, but the main problem is everything else in the episode, everything seems unnatural. I think that series it's the ultimate proof that it's not true that KP sells because of sex, KP it's loved because also with the whole over the top Mafia context the relationships between all the people there look natural and that of course in many cases that also include sex. I'm actually watching other series and I'm enjoing them but Check Out have something that doesn't work for me, maybe I expected more because episode 0 wasn't bad, but I don't think it's only that...

yess but my point is that what happened in this episode made it less belivable...

The problem is that what Kim said slowed everything down. I'll explain: If Chay had done that conversation all alone, something like "I know that you never cared about me and that you got close to me only to know more about my brother" and then went away, then they could have shown Kim suffering, going back to Chay and explain that things changed, but like this the problem is not only the initial lie but also the fact that Chay is sure that nothing was true. Besides from VegasPete story it seems that at least a week or more passed and from their dialogue it seems they didn't talk with each other during the whole week, how are we supposed to belive that Kim at some point, after breaking Chay heart will start to miss him?

At this point I'm not sure KimChay would have an happily ever after, only three episodes are left, there are probably still many things to deal with, 3 couples and Kim just brok Chay heart, I don't think he can mend it up in only three episodes.

I think they give different meanings to the word love. Porchay is young and was kissed by somebody he idolize. His idea of love is probably: I'm happy with this person=love. I think Kim idea of love is much more mature and painful so he actually doesn't love Chay. But in a more mature idea of love neither Chay loves him, he loves the happy and perfect idea of him he has in his head...

I should have waited the end of the series to watch it...

I think that was one of the most realistic "love" scenes I ever seen, it reminded me a lot of a couple I know ahahahah

Anyway if somebody that I met 4 times and kissed on the cheek once told me he loved me, I would probably run away too. (ok I would run away also after much more than that but that is my problem)
So I totally understand Kim, he get caught up by Porchay cuteness but every time he realize how much Porchay likes/loves him he probably remember how innocent is Porchay and how much he can hurt him. To me it makes much more sense and is actually a good part of his personality. If he didn't care at all about Porchay feelings he would probably be: "let's go with the flow and if it goes bad, wathever"

I imagine something like: "can I drive you home?'" "yess sure""do you want to stay for dinner?""ok""let's watch something on the computer?""ok" and then falling asleep. That can also explain the sleeping on the couch and not on a bed.
