TLDR; The story was great up until the end..like I feel like there were a lot of inconsistencies that led to something that probably wasn't supposed to happen just bc the writers wanted to change it up a bit. And the last episode was definitely rushed. All things considered, the very last end was worth watching. Acting is phenomenal, and music is worth relistening. I don't tend to rewatch shows so this one's just a one-time watch, but it was enjoyable.

Story: There's a bit of a mystery aspect to it, but it's not overly complicated (as someone who finds it hard to parse mysteries). Also, I enjoy a secret identity that links to the main leads bc all it takes is one slip to realize who the other person really is--the paradigm shift that changes their relationship almost instantly, and I patiently wait for that moment bc it's very rewarding. Supporting characters' love plot is also very nice and just as good as the mains'. There are a ton of feminist ideals that aren't overly cheesy and get the point across. The plot w/ second ml is a bit too much and kinda out of character to me imo--idk if they did that bc of whose student he is, but idk, it just seems out of nowhere.. And the emperor's attitude is lowkey wishy-washy like why do that when you're just going to retract it just as easily, but I digress..

Acting/Cast: Every character is expressive in their facial expressions, esp ml, that don't need to be verbal to make an impact. It's also natural and it doesn't feel like it's just a show, if that makes sense.

Music: A lot of good songs in this one. The instrumental renditions are also very good and worth relistening to.

Rewatch value: One and done but enjoyable while it lasted.
