That was INTENSE. Wish all episodes were released at once. It's too good to be aired weekly. Also, is it only me, or is the display extra dim? I have my device on full brightness but still some scenes feel too dark.
What's up with all the moving camera work during the kiss scene? Lol I wanted an up close stable slowmo shot. Is IU the cameraman by chance?? 😂 They have great chemistry, I want a better kiss next time. I'm enjoying everything about this drama
Never felt so close to a protagonist before like I've felt with Daeum. It truly felt as if I was losing a friend, not a fictitious character in a drama. I'm glad they didn't show us Daeum's final moments filled with agony and pain, but instead full of love and life. So she'll always be remembered as her beautiful shining bright self. Phenomenal acting and amazing cinematography. Pure art.
I watched the second episode over the span of 8 hours because I kept pausing and putting it off. It's so boring and unwatchable, the story is so uninteresting and bland. I'm not even curious where it's heading next. 2025 is definitely NOT Lee Dong Wook's year.
Woah! Fourth episode is sheer madness. Good acting done by the teacher. I also wonder whether there are multiple pairs or is it just one pair of glasses that keeps switching owners. Because supposedly the girl bully stole one from Seona but then another appeared at the male teacher's disk and then another with the lunatic female teacher. Does Lee Dahee have a stack and keeps spreading them around to create chaos or something? Lol
They literally explained why the story started to change. Seon Chaek wasn't supposed to be the lead.
The return of the revenge-seeking prince has nothing to do with Seon Chaek being the main female lead. The pre-existence of the Heuksa clan or whatever it is called also has nothing to do with the female lead. These are all side plots that were later introduced during the second half of the drama. Seon Chaek being the female lead did affect the trajectory of events only when it comes to Eun Ae's hatred of her and maybe it enhanced the revenge-seeking prince's hatred for Yi Beom because he stole his childhood love. The creators wanted to make it an all-in-one drama and failed miserably.
New characters just kept coming, it was hilarious. I'm so lost. Truly a never-ending chain of scammers. A solid start! So excited for the upcoming episodes.
Felt as if I was watching a parody at some point. I'm unable to take this whole new shift of events seriously because during the early episodes, the creators didn't build a "serious" universe, they kinda built a lighthearted one with a silly FL, and out of nowhere during the middle of the drama they changed genres and approached darker themes. Now it all feels so ridiculous to me, it's neither a rom-com nor a well-built revenge thriller. A complete utter failure in-between.
The only thing carrying the drama at this point is Oh Jung Se's acting. The fight scenes are top tier and well-excuted to be fair but it gets boring after a while.
The cheating dead couple's case is so intricate and interesting. It puts the two opposing parties in a really difficult situation and makes it hard for one to choose a side. I'm really enjoying such cases. I'm not trying to judge anybody but the world doesn't revolve around love and romance. I don't understand how some people find it boring. I love me some slice-of-life every now and then.
If only Drugmon had run Min Ju Yeong over with her car instead of hitting the brakes, she would've saved us from all that hassle. Girly had a chance and missed it 😔
And here I thought Seon Jae couldn't get any lower, he proved me wrong yet again with that cheap move he pulled on the rooftop. What a sick twisted creature.. I was screaming "JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!" in my head, which reminded me of Blackpink's Jump. Haha I know her traumatic reflexes saved him but I just wish he'd slipped or something. The way he childishly keeps barging into the office hands in pockets and everything gets on my nerves. Bro grow up
Chun Su's vocals are really good. Is he a singer?
Ha Ni is so adorable!
Can't wait for Beom Su and Se Ri's happy ending. :')
