Se Hee dying in her lab reminded me of Breaking Bad's Walter White dying in his lab as well alone and lonely, both defeated by their own obsession and madness.
When I watched her in DNA lover I really didnāt care for her acting. I watched My Secret Terrius after and she…
Agreed. She should've confessed in college and gotten over it better than dragging it into her 30s. Her confession gave me secondhand embarrassment. Maybe I'm too prideful but I'd never go that far for any man. š
Feels like I'm pretty late to the party and so unlike me to judge a drama right off the bat, BUT
Maybe I was too sleepy or maybe I got too used to slow-paced dramas that the first episode alone felt like 5 episodes worth of content. Hahaha Too many characters introduced all at once as well.
I don't easily get the ick because of a female lead no matter what she does or how she acts but something about this drama's opening scene of the FL "screaming" because she can't ride a bike rubbed me the wrong way. Girl, if you're unable to ride a bike, get off of it. And if you're still learning, the middle of a busy street ain't no place to learn.
That was screaming "Oh I'm so cute and clumsy uwu". She's acting too cringe at her grown age. I'd understand if she's a highschool girl with a highschool crush but a full grown woman? Nah. Immaturity and clinginess are not cute at all.
Also, the ML being a huge red flag AND STILL she's so smitten with him had me on the brink of dropping the drama mid-episode. Him not wanting to marry isn't even why he's a red flag, it's his overall attitude. I hope they don't go down the "I can fix him" trope, I CAN'Tā
I believe that judging a drama based off the first 2 episode is strongly unfair but I really REALLY couldn't let that slide. Both leads are unbearable by far. I like neither of them, and it's not about the chemistry between them. It's just the way she acts around him that makes me NOT want to see them together. Wish I could add that picture of Barbie's weirded out face that people use in TikTok comments.
There should be a counter on screen for the number of times they mention marriage, it's driving me crazy. Lol
Other than the leads, the other characters seem fine. Too early to judge the plot either so I won't talk about that. I'm solely disappointed with the leads' characters. Soooo we'll see..
I'm sorry but I really don't like the way Yeorum treated Jinny in ep4. I get she got her problems but it's not…
I totally agree with you. Thought it was only me being extra sensitive towards animals. I hated her attitude and the poor dog was literally doing NOTHING wrong. She was being harsh for absolutely no reason. I felt so bad for the poor dog, he doesn't understand that it's just acting.
In Korea, people criticize the dramaās loveline, even though I think the two have great chemistry. Some also…
The tension between the leads is insane. I'm loving this love/hate relationship. Knetz criticize and complain about everything, it's nothing new. I'm enjoying this drama because it has a solid plot and great acting. What else would I need! This drama would've gone places if it had been picked up by Netflix. What a shame..
High level of professional acting. Well-written script. Amazing cinematography (that rain scene was insanely good). Breathtaking thrilling cases (I was literally out of breath because of how anxious I was watching episode 4). I'm in awe of how perfectly-executed this drama is. Oh, and Lee Jin Wook is so charismatic.
I'm glad everyone got their little happy ending. What a bittersweet finale. It was so heartwarming to see them all together once again, yet it made me feel sad because I couldn't keep up with some of my ex-coworkers, whom I've once made happy memories with. :')
At the beginning of the drama, I had high hopes for An Ju Hyeong and Kang Hui Ji as a couple. I tried to give them a chance for 12 episodes straight and sadly it didn't work. Their relationship felt too cold and awkward. I didn't even expect or need any romance in the drama, but still they should at least "act" as a couple.
Their scenes felt too robotic as if they're reading from a script behind the cameras with absolutely no portrayal of emotions at all and no sign of intimacy. I don't know if Lee Jong Suk and Mun Ka Young are the ones to blame as actors or if it's the writer and director's fault.
All in all, their performance was the worst amongst all the cast members. Other than them, everyone else did an amazing job!
Anyhow, I loved this drama so much and I enjoyed every episode, every individual character, and every single case. ā¤ļø
Acting in episode 3 was incredible! Sooyeong's parting scene with his father is an award-worthy masterpiece. I literally bawled my eyes out.
This drama is way too good not to receive global recognition. How come not a single official international platform managed to pick it up!
I swear I'm so thankful and grateful to the translators working on the unofficial subtitles but still there are a lot of mistakes and confusing parts. In such cases, I usually drop the drama immediately but seriously I tried and I CANNOT. It's too good and the acting is superb.
I'm heavily relying on my little understanding of the Korean language and cognitive skills to put things together when I feel like I'm lost in translation. I feel like it's time to download Duolingo again LOL.
My anger issues could never handle the things they're putting Iji through. I would've probably crashed out and quit at some point. Justice for Iji, PLEASE.
What was that Taejoo jumpscare outta nowhere lol bro disappears for 5 episodes straight and voila a new skill added to his resume. I was laughing so hard fr i feel so bad for him, he doesn't have a distinctive role he just fills in whenever he's needed it's hilarious. What does stella have against my man to make him suffer like that. He's such a hear me out kind of guy, I really wish to see more scenes of him where he's not pulling some stunts
I really love it so much and i consider my self having a high standard since i don't like cringe bls and many…
Girl, say no more. I'M IN! All these TikToks were all over my fyp and I had to check what all the buzz was about. I love it when the drama is so good that we all collectively suffer together. š
I've been off the BL field for quite some time because I couldn't find anything interesting but now literally EVERYONE is talking about this drama and I knew I needed to lock in and get back in the game. I'm not the biggest omegaverse fan but the pressure is too much, my expectations are HIGH and I'm so excited to start watching. Idk if I should start now or wait till it's completed. If it's good, it'd be too hard to wait for weekly episodes..
