I knew it was bad from the comments and reviews but turns out it's not just bad, it's AWFUL! It seriously felt like a bunch of NPCs interacting with each other and reciting their assigned lines. Terrible acting. I swear the only good acting is done by the dog. Plot? Nonexistent. Characters? Cringe. Honestly, the people giving this an average rating of 5.9 are being far too generous. This deserves a 1 at best just because 0 is not an option. Don't waste your time by watching this.
Wow.. We've come a long way since The Untamed. Who would've thought! I know that China didn't "make" it but at least it's Chinese-themed and the actors are Chinese. Now I'm waiting on Thailand and Taiwan to take over the production and making of all Danmei projects. Literally a dream come true!
Regarding the drama, it was overall good. Acting on point, nice characters and light plot. It's not the best but definitely worth the praise and appreciation. Wish there was more focus on side couples because I kinda got bored with the main couple. Also, I think that there should be some more female characters. Even though it's a BL project, it's fine to have female characters, no need to be a female lead or to be the stereotypical homewrecker, just normal female characters that add to the plot.
Loved how they explicitly expressed their love for each other. It was an absolute shock to me! Haha
Me too :< I kind of want to watch it because of the actors but on the other hand nooooo :/
Ikrrrr!!! I thought I was the only one nowadays who isn't into omegaverse, I just can't read/watch this genre >.< what a waste fr I was excited to start watching because it seems to be good
WTH did I just watch? Absolute nonsense. A pointless and plotless cringe mess. Weird and flat characters. Deserted filming locations. I won't judge their acting because MAYBE it wasn't the actors' fault that they received such terrible roles. I'm so glad it's only 6 episodes long, it'd be torturous to watch one more episode.
Oh no not the love triangles. I've watched blue boys AFTER bad guy and I was like what wait taeha?? Wyd here?? Are they all in the same universe? That's exciting
Honestly, it was too cringe for my taste, especially the fight scenes. I couldn't even keep a straight face watching HuiSu cry, it was downright laughable. Let me tell you, the ex-boyfriend was a literal red flag, HuiSu should've been thankful and exhilarated that he decided to break up with him. The only good thing about this is the IDEA of it, the execution was a failure. It genuinely felt like a school project gone wrong. I wished the meteor would strike earth sooner so it could end this joke..
That was far beyond my expectations. Short and to the point. TaeHa's internal conflict, confusion and mixed feelings were nicely depicted. The actor playing JiUn did an AMAZING job. The pain in his eyes, the helplessness, the fear of losing his loved one, the hope.. all these feelings were perfectly portrayed. Superb acting! Hope to see more of them in future projects. If you're hesitant about watching, don't be!
Their raw feelings were perfectly portrayed and their acting was good but still I feel like this drama lacked something. I found it unbearably boring at times, literally nothing motivated me to watch the next episode but my mere unwillingness to drop dramas halfway through. It would've made a good 1.5 hour movie. And why does that yamase kazuma remind me of niki from enhypen with that haircut of his lol
I've recently started reading the novel and I wouldn't say it's 'boring' but more on the 'slow' side. I thought it'd be an enemies-to-lovers (which is my favorite trope) but they don't really come off as enemies to begin with, they just needed some icebreaking to kick off their friendship. Nonetheless, I'm so excited for the drama!
Well, this is WAY sadder than I had expected. I was literally bawling my eyes out watching ZaoZao give her speech and don't even get me started on DongYuan.. I actually don't like the ending. I find it to be so sad and depressing, reminds me of watching Black Mirror. It's not flawless but definitely a great watch. (I'm so mad at the fact that JiuShi didn't search Yan BaLang pockets to find the scissors to save QianLi... Bro...? We could've avoided at least one death.. Arghhh)
I think it's a personal thing. Some people like their outfits very much, especially Ruan Lanzhu's. I had read…
I'm halfway through and I do find the story to be attractive and everything but that wasn't my point. Although the story is amazing, that doesn't blind me from the fact that some of these outfits just look.. plain? I know an actress/actor's main job is TO ACT well however I think they're still obliged to look the least bit stylish. Ruan is supposed to look sophisticated and domineering however these attires only make him look older + if we were to follow the storyline they're getting in and out of doors fighting for their lives bro why are you overdressed? Wouldn't it make sense to wear something more comfortable? MLs look great and would look even more attractive with a better stylist. I'm not from the fashion police I just pay attention to each and every detail and I judge a drama based on so many aspects and the little things matter to me . That's just my opinion but I do understand and respect yours.
