Great casting!
Is this really a short drama? I honestly did not expect this level of quality from such a short series. All of the cast delivered great performances, and the father’s acting stood out, especially around the poisoning of the grandmother. The FL also did an excellent job. She is beautiful and truly brought the character to life. Because of her strong performance, the ML felt a little lacking at times, but overall it was still great. Hats off to the casting and production team for this drama. It is definitely worth watching.Was this review helpful to you?

This drama is truly enjoyable, and what stood out the most for me was the strong chemistry between the ML and FL. The FL embodied her character so well that it became very appealing to watch, while the ML added a wonderful sense of humor that made the story even more engaging. I especially loved the scenes where their inner voices led to misunderstandings, which created both tension and lighthearted moments. The supporting characters were also memorable, and even though the drama was short, each of them managed to show distinct personalities within the limited screen time. I feel this story could have been expanded into a longer drama, but despite its short length, the production team delivered an excellent piece that left a lasting impression.Was this review helpful to you?
Great Drama!
This is a great drama that focuses on the schemes and machinations behind rising to power as a crown princess. As a consort, the FL spent ten years carefully strategizing in order to become a favored consort. Many viewers did not enjoy the story because they were expecting a fairy tale love between a princess and a prince. They wanted a princess who was strong in a more romanticized way, but they forget that this is a story set in a dynasty where power and survival mattered most. For me, the FL was strong in the way that truly reflected her time. I loved her lines when she spoke about being a mastermind, but reminding everyone that without power it still amounts to nothing. I also appreciated the ending, especially the conversation between her subordinates when they wondered what it would be like if she had chosen to become a female emperor. If that storyline ever continued, it is exactly what I would love to see as well.Was this review helpful to you?
