I mean seriously there is no depth to their relationship (not talking about waiting for 500 yrs), no one is talking about insecurities, heart-heart conversations, nothing that says its an adult relationship. 🙄 Though kisses are hot, but there should be more depth to the chemistry. It fells flat on interactions.
I wish they had showed that kid "courage" as a child of fairy (sang hyuk) & human (baek ryun). And he somehow protects his parents from seperating by traveling in the past. He could have those powers as a special breed. That would have been nice touch to the end. But writing is so lame & boring as it gets past initial twists & turns. Then there is nothing left.
She got scared as she heard "you are lying" from the villain. Coz she remembered that phrase in same voice from yr 1993 when she was 19 yr old version of reincarnation.
It was draggy, sometimes revolving in circles. But liked some things - how the burden of being a king is portrayed, - how the kingdom of magical powers is hidden from normal world - how the fairness and integrity is maintained by the king despite everything goes wrong for him
This drama gives similar vibes as What's wrong with Secretery Kim. But this is a sort of drama which is good while…
I know right? U cant remember the scenes clearly even though they were sweet & cute moments. I just rewatched for those scenes but didnt remember much in HPL. While I go back to many other dramas which overall weren't good but just coz i remember some cute scenes vividly like Cinderella & four knights. The drama is very average but i like the transition scenes between main leads. So cute. 😍
I guess they tried to show dying is always the part of life and you should mourn for it and move on to your life with that person's memories rather than bottling up everything & get affected with it.
