When NIS investigates Hwang ga yul's team for corruption, Hwang ga yul hids the chip in normal fridge. That fridge later gets sold to Pelican electronics for reuse. The same fridge is used by Seo jin for building her Smart AI fridge. Bt the chip stays there. Hwang ga yul after discovering that fridge is sold to Pelican, applies there for job.
Pervert didn't know about the chip until he later finds its existence by secretly filming Seo jin.
