As I was reading the second part of your review, I was, like always, on the lookout for something that would annoy the CCP. Didn’t even have to look far. Boom. There it was, staring right at me, practically begging to be picked on. I laughed so hard I almost spat out my kele (that’s Coke Zero,I’m learning Chinese, by the way, but how would you know if I didn’t sprinkle random words everywhere like seasoning?) Anyway, Gubei Town! Yep, there it is. No intro needed. Am I glad you’ve finally drawn the curtains on this drama? Absolutely. Now I can watch it in peace, knowing Gubei was built between 2010 and 2014. My little architecture-loving heart would’ve shattered if I’d found that out later. Also, I’m a Zhao Lusi fan, and I’m thrilled this is the project that got her back on her feet after that Tsunami (you know the one).

It's the first time probably in Asian drama history that actors learn to play instruments and sing just for the project..Takeru Satoh is already a musician and plays piano..and another band member in real life but they all learnt how to play in shows and stuff..It's absolutely mind-blowing..Watch the "Making Of" on YouTube, the behind the scene of what it took to put it together is like wow..humans are really smart..
