Ohh am glad you did like it..it was my first vertical drama and I have watched I think 7 more and I made a list on my profile..Ke Chun is a force to reckon..Vertical drama is another world..when you get a good one,as long as you switch off your logical brain..it's enjoyable..

As someone who is absolutely clueless about anime, or really any Japanese historical era outside of what Korean Joseon dramas, Chinese Republic stories, or the occasional Hollywood “this is totally accurate” WWI/WWII movie give us. I was completely lost when it came to Japan’s history. Forget fantasy, magic, and spirits… I didn’t even know where to place the Emperor in all this.
Honestly, I didn’t understand half the terms or the setting (every time someone mentioned a mystical lineage, I just nodded at my screen like I knew what was going on). But thanks to your review, I can finally grasp what I stepped into. And adding to what I already loved, I now actually know what’s going on… which, of course, means I need more.
I love it too! I wish it was a whole 10-episode drama series and not just a movie.
So I was not alone..I wanted to see them live their lives..The ML faint smile needed to be wider..and the FL was so beautiful with her hair down, smiling. And thank you for the flower again..At this point should I call you my flower girl 😂😆 🌺🌺🌺

As a self appointed Johnny Huang's light house, I can point you to the direction of a place where you will enjoy his acting in full mode..he was sooo good in Love Designer, that the opening song has been my ringtone for years..The OST moves with my every phone and I rewatch it every year since 2020. I even have a timeline of all the swoon and memorable moments with the FL. It's a long drama,and the 2nd FL are the most annoying characters but if you ignore them and their mom..you will have stumbled upon one of the best cdrama in my eyes..He was witty,he was strong CEO, he was in love,he gave everything to this drama..and he had an FL to match his energy.. I have dropped shows at ep 1 but if I came here and wrote a review dismissing it just based on 1/45 episodes that would be misleading for sure..So where do we put all the men who are not "handsome" according to your standard?

He is always the ML so he can't be a villain.. He is a very good actor..I put him on the list of actors who are so natural they have to convince you that this is not a normal conversation.. I was so invested in Love Designer with him and Dilraba because it was my first drama,they were so many rumours of them dating..that I avoided anything romantic until "Bright eyes in the dark" because am on with Zhang Jingyi(I know shallow but I can explain) Anyhow I don't know what direction he takes next but I hope it's a successful one for sure..

I have probably cleared half his filmography 😂 😂
it means the ending wasnt done according to what people think it should end but that doesnt mean its bad ending and you should dismiss the rest of 10 episodes..shows dont just get rated for nothing..Squid Game 3 is still struggling at 7.5 now thats a bad ending
