This is the first time that I started suffering from withdrawal from a show WHILE watching the show!! I knew what I was getting myself into by reading some of these comments and knew there’s a chance there won’t be a season two since it’s been 2 years since first air date. I hate that it’s over and want to throw a tantrum like a brat at a grocery store! *wails* TT
PLEASE someone suggest something else as a diversion!
Regardless of how you feel about the series (a lot of the methods of persuasion are not okay and the whole hubby wifey thing is still annoying thing to do to same sex couples) - in the end they are one of my absolute favourite duos. They are consistent, and their chemistry and connection never feels unreal. Unlike other shows, I also love a lot of the supporting characters. My man Techno needs his own show where he just snoops on all other couples and gives his opinions! Lol
Their chemistry, character development and closeness as a couple over the span of time feels so natural. Not like other shows where you are wondering if they’ve even been together during the past years (looking at you, SOTUS S <_<) .
There’s a lot of content on TT franchise so great if you’re a fan like me and have lot of materials to rewatch on and off screen. I am still hoping for more out of these guys. How about storyline around adopting a baby or fur bay (I know I’m reaching! lol)
This was actually good because of the narrations so You had more insight into some of the major events from S1 and S2 and of course the additional scenes. It was a little repetitive for me only because I binged both seasons and the movie all at once. But I love them and the supporting characters as well so it was still good! It would be a nice refresher if it’s been a while since you watched the series and want to go through the most iconic moments within 2 hours.
Ps: only thing that bothered me was that the narrator voices were clearly not of the leads
I'm not even ready to watch ep 6 because I'm so attached to them and miss them, I don't want it to be the last…
I totally understand you. This is already on my list of rewatch shows - one I will come back to over and over whenever need some serotonin and inspiration. Let’s pray they will have a season 2!

I think I’m over this storyline since WRU S2 - just feels so meh. Especially since there are so many awesome BL series that were released in 21-22. And if you’re going to do the enemy to lover uni student trope, look at something like semantic error! *chef’s kiss* Their chemistry IS undeniable but I just felt stressed though the entire 10 episodes because the conflicts seem to be never ending! Sigh
Is it worth the watch? Sure why not - if you have the time. The ML are both adorable and there’s lots of cute, steamy moments.
Gonna go re-watch Cherry blossoms now for some sweet palate cleanser.
Omg just watched up to episode 4 only and needed to pause momentarily because my heart is beating fast and have butterflies in my tummy. Forget typecasting this into the genre - such a beautiful story and superb acting - such a strong message that hits home especially after most of us hid from the world for the past couple of years and sort of become more risk adverse in life. I’m always in awe of Japanese storytelling and how they manage to pack such huge punches in such short episodes and series. All it does is makes me live in agony hoping for more.

I thought I was so over the high school / university “I only like him” trope - watched this first time and was like woah this is so cute! Despite the overused plot, it’s the actors who have that je ne sais quoi, that spark that gets to you. Watching it for the second time and can’t believe I have more butterflies this time than last! Must watch and hoping they have a second season!

Everything from the cringey stalker turned brother turned rap*st turned lover thing was so ick then on top of that everyone including the victim and family pretending somehow it was okay because he “loves” him. Just NO.
I watched both seasons back to back and don’t recommend doing that. The change in ML was too jarring and I just couldn’t connect the same way! So if you are watching the series, I would say give a break between S1 and S2 and watch something else so you do justice to the storyline. It really is too bad that the original ML couldn’t do S2 :(
This drama definitely has a refreshing approach to The BL genre. I truly enjoyed it. Watching for the second time now because I missed a few details as I was so obsessed over the chemistry between the MLs. Love how this show showcases the nuances of so many issues faced by not just same sex couples but couples in general. The wedding scene between the Amy and Sa Sa was so touching and heartfelt made me sappy as hell. Can we come back to their chemistry tho - my goodness - I can watch ep 2 over and over - the way Damian falls for Jerry is just adorable. I can totally forget that he is acting at times. Just off the chart! I know everyone is all over the glamorous lives of KP and CP but this to me is so realistic. The end of the season was a mess though because no one is that kind of a cliffhanger for S2!
I’m on ep 6 and really struggling with this one and wondering why it’s been so highly rated?! There’s no dignity in abusive one sided love. I can appreciate the struggle to stop loving someone but he has no redeeming quality so far that deserves such devoted, self demeaning love. The way he treats women like disposable objects is a huge turn off and I can’t relate to this version of hurtful love. Thinking to drop it - is there any redeeming quality to keep at it?

I thought that no one can be up there on chemistry compared to TharnType, Cutie Pie and Kinnporche but these two seriously made me blush!! That said, they bravely addressed our fantasized, rosy and somewhat naive view of the BL genre and highlighted how intense the pressure is on the authors and writers to sacrifice depth for cheap thrills. at the end of the day, it’s about selling a product just like any other. I feel like they also showcased all the product ads sort of over the top as well to keep reminding us that we are rabid consumers. I always remind myself not to go down the rabbit hole of trying to ship actors or become internet stalkers. It’s just best to enjoy the shows for the intended entertainment and leave it at that.
Not even ashamed of ugly crying at how beautiful, poignant and human this movie was! Julia Robert’s had this line in Notting Hill that some people DO spend their lifetime together. This movie reminded me of that line. I’m still bawling T—T

Okay final thoughts after finishing the entire show: they managed to deal with some pretty deep issues while managing to keep the light, comedic aspect of the show. Things like gender identity, body image issues, social awkwardness or challenges of being an introvert isn’t always easy to deal with in this manner so I liked the direction they went in. Yes, some aspects were still really cringey (a grown man throwing a tantrum at fetal position at the mall of all places for example!) but overall I liked the show and recommend a watch. The chemistry between the leads is truly amazing.
