Many interpretations on the web saying that Kosuke is materialistic , he wanted to buy Ryuta through expensive gifts and money which shows his ego BUT if he was such a person he wouldn't keep supporting his lover's mother. She even looked like his mother in law. ( She called him ''son '' at the end) Kosuke loved Ryuta truly. In the first part of the movie he said in the monologue that the fancy look is just ''an armor'' , giving him an ''egoist'' look to hide his soft and big heart. At the end of the movie he could buy the cheap peaches but instead he chose the expensive ones which are better quality for sure, that was not out of materialism but because he has a big heart and good manners. You know it's improper to offer low quality fruits even if the second party is poor. He will buy them for himself but not for the people he loves.... There're many other details that show kosuke's generosity and sensitivity. Focusing on his superficial actions is an error and that's the trick of calling the movie '' egoist''
Reading the comments below, i'll personally give this drama a chance. Well, I didn't like "Takara" and couldn't figure out his feelings through the acting and lines. Too much make-up and too much poker face. Amagi is very cute, lively , silly and funny, you'll understand this character if you read many yaoi manga x) But still i'm curious about what is next hoping there will be a side couple and no bi*ch to ruin the progression of the relationship.
This is the second time I watch Life senjou no bokura ... maybe the more you grow up, the more you'd feel this drama. So pure, so touching, *sigh* ...this is the best image of BL work that I want to watch and re-watch ( as long as life and reaching happiness keep getting harder).
I just want to convince my subconscious that this is a fiction and I think the gay world is not that innocent in real life as portrayed. So this drama can't be a documentary stuff about LGBT ( not like "HIS" for example) . However, the message that we can learn from it is that being different is not a crime and we should resist the tide of groupism and "normalcy", which is a sick phenomenon in the Japanese society. Having your own "Line" (i.e path of life) is totally legitimate as long as it doesn't hurt anybody.
I cried at the last added scene. I hope I can live happily and forever with the person I love, someday. T--T Life Senjou no Bokura is definitely among the BL masterpieces.
I loved this ! I was feeling terrible and watching this super sweet BL made me feel better. I love such realistic , mature and deep dramas, well, Japan is always good at this genre ( --> psychological melodrama). I dunno why I felt that each episode was longer than 25min, not in a bad way tho. I enjoyed every moment and all the romantic lines and scenes + the kiss scene... The only thing which made me feel a little annoyed -by the first part of the final EP - was the same repetitive parties and meetings... I wished there were better circumstances for Nozue and Togawa to meet up. For this reason, it makes sense for me why there're only 5 eps. On the other hand, there're 2 little details for which i waited to get an answer. 1- when Nozue slept at Togawa's place. Did really nothing happen after carrying him at home when he was drunk? Nozue's facial expression was really telling he's hiding something. 2- And when Togawa kissed Nozue on the neck, was the latter really asleep? Usually in such scenes I expect that something would happen xD that's why it felt strange for me... Last but not least, i felt tortured when they missed that kiss and no kissing after xD So, I hope there will be a movie or a special episode. Highly recommend this BL, my rate 9/10 .
I feel lucky for watching this BL in a raw... This is a masterpiece (althought there's a problem with the subs). I had tears at the final scene ( the corridor and classroom moments....so intense). I love how many JP BLs are so unique and deep. Thai producers should really take it easy concerning budget and invest in the story and script instead... Also I love how JP producers tend to film outside Tokyo ; in the suburbs or other "green" or "blue" prefectures, which adds more serenity and romance. I will for sure watch this drama again. My rate is 9/10
I watched 6 episodes in a raw ( while i thought there will be 8 ep only .. :") ). The drama is super cute and comfortable to watch ( smooth direction, warm picture, beautiful sceneries, no noisy soundtracks etc.). The way the characters behave is like reading a yaoi slice of life comedy manga and where the top is the youngest. The actors did so well especially Shin chan. I love his persona. It's so fresh and so straightforward ( he can express his feelings and desires without limits). His little perversion is so funny and cute as well . The funny thing now is that i thought Sakuma sensei and his nephew are played by the same actor xD They look alike so much!!!!
This drama is among the ones that make me hate and feel guilty for watching BL.... The 10th episode is another catastrophe in terms of morale and direction.
I liked this show in terms of direction and cinematography. Everything was so smooth. The story has the same vibes as ''His'' (Japanese BL drama) as we're facing youths trying to understand themselves through art. I just didn't like Si Won's character. He's a korean cliché , obsessed with his look , self-centered, without any special beautiful traits or talent. Whenever he met Da Un , he recited his childhood memories and never showed real care or attention to him, as much as Da Un did (* It's not about offering gifts. Riding your bike straight ahead, without watching back is unforgivable to me lol ). Anyway, Si Won's persona is good for an ex in another drama.
sorry this is a little out of topic, but please, any currently airing BL fun to watch with no tragedy, no excessively dropped childish bed scenes, and no psychological stuff ? thank you in advance
The drama ended up being a catastrophe.... Absolutely not fun to watch with all the countless irritating imperfections and messed up story. It had potential that's why i kept watching it till the end, but now i need therapy.
