ML has some kind of mental disorder and it's not "cool" one.
Looks like "Category B" series.
I just can't wrap my head around why these an absolutely repulsive types of male characters are so popular in Chinese culture.

It's a pretty controversial series. Many became disillusioned with FL and her relationship and gave up watching the 25th episode. I think my personal assessment will seem too high to you.

Nice noona romance comedy.
It's a FL centered series and MDL rating is low because Yuan Song (ML) doesn't have much screentime and FL immediately jumps into new relations just after breakup. Funny how authors show there is no intimacy in her raltions with Ye Lu Ming. That cheek peck in Ep. 34.

Age gap of FL and both MLs doesn't feel awkward like in Love's Ambition.

I found myself not believing what was happening on screen during the second half of the series. And that’s not the actors' fault—it’s on the director and the screenwriter.

That was his best role so far.
This is the first romantic role of his that actually resonates with me (despite his impassive face); everything I’d seen him in before that felt flat and expressionless—my apologies to his fans.

Didn't get to it yet, I'm on Ep. 14. Maybe I’m just used to slow-burn romance, but it feels like some scenes were cut, or they simply decided to show their relationship in brief flashes.
And then there are those sudden time skips. 5 years, 2 more years.
7 years passed and nothing has changed in the surrounding environment.

The only one his role i personally liked is scum villain Liu Chang / Zi Shu in Flourished Peony. I really don't know why he can't be romantic chracter. Seen 4 romantic dramas with him as ML - all his characters are the same, now watching Blossom through the Cloud. Looked like miscast for the first episodes. Then got better.
His upper lip now is completely motionless. Like a postmortem mask. Long live, MW, but sorry.

Rewatching too right now. Love how calm their relations are. That scene in utility room in ep. 17 so intimate even tho their first kiss was interrupted (that one in first ep doesn't count).

Just opposite opinion. It's one of my top rated "chinese modern life" dramas. Rewatching it right now. No passion, but caring and romance. Added it to comedy list.
The plot has an engaging legal backdrop that is really rare. Most dramas has just formal surrounding reality.
FL's confidence, confidence, more confidence. Rivals to sismance nicely done.
XK presented his character just right. With all his strange but understandable beliefs.

They say in some ep ML is 35 y.o., but no, he looks exactly his 40+ age or even older

Throw in here w/o any doubt all Reply series, Vincenzo, Twinkling Watermelon, Mr. Queen and half of Shin Hae Sun's dramas list.

Rewatching it right now, going to the end. Again great show. Pure comedy for the first eps. Lovely drama for the rest, and I'm not a fan of angst. It's just right. Thinking again that Park Sung Hoon portrayed one of the most hated anthagonists in dramas.

Suddenly I found out he played alot of roles in dramas I saw already, like 15+, and about 10 I'm going to watch later.
