The mains literally run from each other in a third of the series.

True. Looks like crew or producers one day got tired of it and just ended it quick just to not left undone.

This series has been massively attacked by the islamic part of the audience, which is why the rating is so low. If you do not take into account their sufferings and attempts (while "Dogma" and "Legion" are the same blasphemy from the point of view of christians, but who cares), this is a very good series.
