No, I donโt like her either. I love the first Chong Zi, but the second time around her character is too bland.
I agree that the writer didn't add any special to distinguish the two persons. Even twins have different personalities. I think the writer didn't give much thought to the 2nd CZ's personality.

I don't think the second CZ's character is too bland. The 2nd CZ is different from the 1st because she had parents loved and raised her properly. She's educated and very helpful to her dad in the family business. Unlike the 1st who practically was raised on the streets and was uneducated. Based on their backgrounds, I think you should give the 2nd one a chance. It's her 2nd life anyway and it should be an improvement from the 1st ๐
omg that's what i said too. i've already dropped this show. i'm not a fan of the female lead actress. i'm sorry…
I'm watching both and I like them both for different reasons. In this drama, CZ fell for the master first because he treated her with love and kindness no one had ever showed her because she was an orphan. Also, she didn't even know how she felt until she was poisoned with the heart poison. The cold hearted Shifu that had never felt any emotion whatsoever for another human being before also developed a kind of feeling for his disciple. As her master and a father figure for her, he couldn't come out to explain or confess his feelings. He only began to recognize his feelings after having the conversation with his friend CB and he told him CZ's feeling for him is beyond master and disciple. So, my friends, sometimes love is not so pronounced. You might be in love with someone without even knowing it. In my opinion, that's the situation here. As you know, some men can be stubborn to acknowledge their feelings sometimes ๐
My question is what will be the thing he holds to that makes him want to stay with her through all this mess?…
๐คฃYou're too funny! That's why I said in one of my posts that the ML has an emotional entanglement problem when it comes to CZ. One minute he wants her to lead a normal life away from it is safe for her. The next minute, he can't bear to be apart from her. He's a very confused immortal, to say the least!
My question is what will be the thing he holds to that makes him want to stay with her through all this mess?…
Oh yeah, I think loving fathers with daughters are like that. They're over protective towards their daughters๐But, our ML kind of have an emotional entanglement problem from the look of things (ep. 16) because he can't let go. He should have dissuaded her from joining the immortal sect and let her know about other good things she can do in the mortal world. I blame the stupid demon king Wang Jue for for giving her the idea in the first place. Stupid stupid demon๐
I love your point of view and how you presented it. I was so sad at the end of ep. 14 too. Because here is a girl…
It really was a messed because CB never explained to the ML what happened and why he was in possession of the sword. He protected the sword and never gave it to the Demon king because if he did, he wouldn't have told CZ to take it back to the immortal and make up for her mistakes.
My question is what will be the thing he holds to that makes him want to stay with her through all this mess?…
DW, I think from what we've seen so far, ML may be very possessive but not abusive. I also think his possessiveness stems from wanting to protect CZ from those that want to use her for inborn qualities and those that deemed her evil because of those same qualities. In a way, he's trying shield her from the world, or something like that. That's what I think.

Since you read the book, you're a step ahead of us. Now, I'd look forward to seeing it in the drama if the story follows the novel. Thanks for giving more insight to the story ๐
I agree, WJ came briefly and made a great ripple. The ML on the other hand was meant to be cold. He has too much…
He sure did redeemed in ep. 15. I'm so glad CZ is reborn and given to a kind couple that raised her well. Ep. 15 made up the disappointment and anger of the previous ep. Thank goodness๐๐๐
You are correct. She is the daughter of Ni Lun, and the immortal who sacrificed herself to kill Ni Lun is indeed…
I think that was what was shown in the beginning scenes. I don't understand, if she was born of immortal parents, then why is she a mortal with demon breath? According to CZ, her parents died when she was young and since she had nobody to care for her, she began a beggar. Her origin is kind of confusing to say the least!
