The ML is a man in a lot of pain that he cannot discuss with anybody. He lost his best friend and confidant, and he also lost technically lost the sword and now another someone he cares about. In addition, he took in a disciple with an inborn demon breath who other immortals wanted far away from them. He's cold and distant for a very good reason. I understand why a lot of our wonderful viewers can't stand him and deem him unworthy of CZ. I hope in the coming episodes; he is given opportunities to redeem himself and be deemed worthy of the poor girl that would keep dying to save the world.

Yes, Yinfan knew CB was protecting the sword and he had nothing to do with the death of the 3,000 disciples, but what can he say when the whole immortal clan deemed his friend guilty? Chong Zi confirmed what he already knew. CZ also had a better understanding of the situation after spending some time with CB because when they first met he helped a beggar girl that was being bullied and gave her a mark for protection. So, how can such a person suddenly turn bad. CZ was glad he was still a good person even though the whole immortal clan misunderstood him. Let's see how ep.15 will go.

The demon king and the guy in the while robe wearing a mask already said the ML and FL are destined to be together. So, they cannot even escape their fate😢

I agree, WJ came briefly and made a great ripple. The ML on the other hand was meant to be cold. He has too much responsibility in protecting the six world and his only friend was WJ. When WJ left to the demon side, he has CZ and it took her childish and cheerful personality to thaw him just a little. You would notice, he only smiles at her and tries to make her happy. He's a work in progress. So, be kind to him a little 😊

I love your point of view and how you presented it. I was so sad at the end of ep. 14 too. Because here is a girl who, through no fault of hers, has an inborn characteristic that makes her evil in the eyes of the world. Despite that, those very close to her appreciate her for her true nature and kindness to others, while her haters continue to hate her. Her master is a confused immortal because he never knew he could care for someone as much as he cared for her. He said so himself that Chong Zi was able to identify her feelings because of the heart poison, but he had no such excuse because he already knew his feelings for her went beyond that of a master and a disciple. CZ's ultimate for the peace of the world was something. I can't wait to see the next ep. Again, thanks, DW 😊

I can wait! I think the gentle princess is the perfect person to change the 3rd prince's wicked mind. He's so evil trying to kill his brother and planning to frame the 2nd brother for his crime. He eventually framed the immortal who messed up his plan for the crime. Nasty son of a gun!

I don't get it. Wasn't the princess supposed to marry the 1st prince (Mr. Simpleton) and be the crown princess? How in the hell did she end up with assassinator 3rd prince? So sad the girl raised right was not destined to marry the proper prince. Fate does pull punches at just the right time!

It was beautiful. I love the bickering when they first met. Tan was so funny, she was trying to hire the ML to kidnap himself. It was so funny 😁

😊I understand your sentiments. Let's not forget, her parents died when she was very young so she was raised on the street. We saw how she was bullied on the streets and how the immortals saved her twice. Anyone who have gone through such hardship would "grow a tough skin". She decided to go to the recruitment because she doesn't want to be bullied anymore. Fortunately for FL, her master saved her when she was turned away, as we know. Her master showered her with the love and affection she never received as a mortal. In one of the scenes, he mentioned that if he had met her before, he wouldn't have let her go through all the hardship she experienced. I would have done the same for her as well 😊😊😊 He is not strict with her as other masters are strict with their disciples because he knows the power she possess and he's trying to keep the power in check. Everyone knows her master cares so much about her and protects her. She has a very kind nature unlike the princess who is a mean natured person.

I think the color is beautiful on her and applying makeup on only one eyebrow was to show us she's bold and sassy. I like the no nonsense personality. Gentleness is overrated 😊

I don't think Ashes of Love has a sad ending because the Phoenix got his girl and a simple life at the end and his older brother got to rule the kingdom. Unless you are discussing another Ashes of Love?

I was so scared for Tan at first but I knew she was the destined one since they accidentally met prior to the wedding. I am glad she has a good heart even though she was raised by a heartless father and a despicable man. How does he expect a child to show love and affection when she wasn't raise with love. Thankfully, the twins has a beautiful relationship and they look out for each other.

Yes, I loved the ML in the republican era love story.
This is such a beautiful story as well. I'm glad the brides were switched even though it was for bad intentions but the brides went to their destined grooms. Fate always have the last laughs 😁No matter how humans or otherwise tries to manipulate things to go our way, at the last minute, things always change to put everything back in its proper order.

I think both the character and the actress herself depend on how the story was written. If the story calls for such childish behavior, then that's what the crew would look for when casting that part. She's still immature and childish because her master spoils her, and the reason for that is to keep her demon breath in check. She has to remain pure without no evil thoughts or intentions. According to the story, her parents were the previous demon lord and mistress. So, as their daughter, can you imagine how much power she inherited from both parents? In my opinion, this character and the person are just right for this part based on the long synopsis I read 😊

I really love the drama and the relationship between the Chong Zi and her master. Her master knew she was capable of so much without any training. If not, how could she drew the sword of the proud princess and aim it at her neck? That tells you, talents are born, not made!
