When they say "get out of town", the outfits for the casts is totally outstanding! That's why I love costume dramas so much. Because I get to see beautiful outfits, the aesthetic of each building used, the market place, hair accessories, and other little things. Sometimes I wonder if I was born in the wrong era.
I just finished ep25&26 and I would proudly tell you my bestie and I watching it screamed so much. Thankfully, we live in a big house that could contain our noise or else, neighbors would have call 911 for us :)

I understand your frustration about the drama. It seems all the older women are given more power than the men. However, all the women who yields the power are terrible human beings. Young Yi's character is weak in this drama because she's a widow without her own family for support. If she has parents or her grandmother, she might not be in that situation. So far, only the grandma and her father-in-law cares about her. YY's mother-in-law is a terrible person. She only cares about her own children and have treats YY from the beginning with contempt. She doesn't hide how she feels about her and she's not ashamed about it. Imagine the poor girl worked for 3 years and saved all her money, the money is loaned to her son and he stupidly lost it, she could not even apologize to the poor girl on her son's behalf instead, she told YY not to let the grandma know about it. Jang Kyung's stepmother is the worst of them all. She feels everyone is below her, very condescending , even though she's a nobody before she married her husband. Thankfully, the grandpa is in that household. If not, JK's life would be in danger. She also did something terrible that her son knew and its been affecting his mental health, yet she calls him weak. So, my friend, lets continue to watch it for all the good people in the drama and see what would happen to the bad ones :)

What in hell is going on and why should the next ep. be scheduled for Dec. 19th. They took a whole month off, for what? Forgive me for say this. This is why I like C-Dramas better in terms of making dramas readily available once it airs and only what viewers have to wait for is it to be translated to different languages. This is too painful, to say the least!

This is actually a very beautiful drama. Some lucky son of a gun might have this reaction to a beautiful stranger (pounding heart) : ). It is Highly Recommended to fun-loving viewers.

Don't get worked up over this. Life is filled with unexpected situations. We already missed one or two episodes a couple of weeks ago and the World Cup is pretty important to the nations of world, so lets take a break and watch dramas from other nations that would be aired and translated during the FIFA World Cup period :)

Why did the writer choose the easier relationship for the FL at the end of episode 11? It is much easier for a poor boy to fall in love with a poor girl and the parents accepting each other than a rich boy to fall in love with a poor girl and the parents of the boy accepting the girl, most of the time in reality fate doesn't work that way. I would rather see the impossible happen in this situation because Hae Yi's mom and Sun Ho's mom do not want their girls together even though they were classmates once upon a time and drinking buddies now. And whose heart was beating when they fell on each other during Sun Ho's date with Hae Yi? Sun Ho has changed so much after meeting Hae Yi. Once upon a time, he used to change girlfriends like changing new born diapers (frequently). But, now he seems to have grown a little bit and realize his good look and money cannot always get him what he wants. I like the way he has to fight to win a girl's heart. The love triangle date was good but the end of it was not so good in my opinion.

For the month of November, I'm glad this month was released when I wanted a decent historical drama. It's very funny and sad at the same time, especially in episode 12. I think Zheng and Li Wei met their master in the new princess. I can't wait to see how the trio would manage their lives.

Hao Jia made a grave based on her own family situation. She has a servant mentality. Being the second best, after thought person because of her mother's situation. I would think someone in such a situation would want to be the best of the best and not a second best. She choose to become a concubine just like her mom and being treated harshly as well. So, when does the circle ends. Out of all the young ladies that came for the selection, she was the best of the best, well educated, beautiful, and knowledgeable. However, she was the most stupid. She had the booklet of all the princes that has their merits and demerits. So, why choose the most condescending, arrogant, son of gun that does not respect women. While everyone's husbands tries to please them, she's abandoned. To get a little attention, she has to scheme and manipulate. It's like what are girlfriends are offered on her platter of gold by their husbands, she has to steal to get the same thing from hers. She thought she knew what she was getting herself into when she choose a married man, not knowing she was signing up for loneliness, sadness, and a whole lot more.
