MZ is a great character in this drama. But, absolutely hate him for all he's putting the LA. The sister saw through his hatred and torture as being in love with her. It is the girls, boys like, they bully because in this case, she is a strong-willed independent woman and that drives him crazy because she somehow makes him feel small. To him, she's too smart for a woman and she's always ahead of him. But, unknowing to him, this is her rebirth and she's trying to take care of her Lu family which she thought she didn't do in her original life. Unfortunately, everyone has their destinies and even if she somehow changes her own fate, she cannot change the fate of others. Unfortunately, what will be, will be.

He shouldn't have agreed to it. He was not really nice to him to begin with and always dragging him off. He was the most careful of the men, friendly towards women but never in any romantic relationship. The marriage was mentioned at the end of episode 9, so I'd have to see how he stupidly fall into her trap!

It might be the Chinese version for 2022. Since you've seen A Gentleman's Dignity, watch a couple of episodes of this one and let us know if is the Chinese version of the same drama.

@Maliya. You got me confused, none of them are married. There is the single dad AI guy that got in some else's room without knowing, the second is the chef that the head chef didn't allowed to make the steak, but he met and fell in love with a girl at the market, the third one is the ladies man that have a shop at the mall that sells brand name bags and vows never to get married, and the last one is the Boli University professor who is creative with his classes and can't get over is ex. In this particular drama, I find the guys rather funny with the life and love problems. In another drama (Lost Track of Time), the third guy is plain evil, vindictive, manipulative, and so on. It took me awhile to reconcile the two characters he's playing.

I agree with @deidra that said this is a very sad drama. Come on! I wish I didn't watch it. Who the hell is the writer? It's so annoying! How much sadness can a family endure? Even though life itself is not a bed of roses, we are given blessings to be thankful for. I mean, what kind of stupid fate is this? Ignore my ranting, I am just a little sad for the family.

My sentiments exactly, especially with his cave man mentality. Even if you want your to marry your girlfriend and start a family, there are better ways to coax a woman you love and get a win win situation. I am a woman and I will dumb his sorry behind in a heartbeat because of his personality.

I know a lot of people commented that Du Di's personality is terrible especially when communicating with her patient and their families. But, if all can recall the medical dramas that you have watched over the years, doctors that are geniuses in their field often have terrible bedside manners. For those that watch the British medical drama about a small town doctor, Dr. Martin who has blood phobia. In spite of his excellent skill as a doctor, his personality as a human being sucks. There are also a lot of Chinese medical dramas whose genius doctors' personalities are nothing to write home about. In this drama, Du Di's messed-up personality might be from the verbal abuse she and her parent received from her paternal grandmother. No child that endured such abuse can be okay mentally. To make matters worse, the person she sees as a life partner only sees her as a family-making machine. Mentally and emotionally, she's not in a good place right now. Just my perspective.

Darn he is a really bad person! I pray I never have the misfortune to meet someone like that in my life time. It's so scary to see how she tries to win but loses every time.

@Shae. The FL forgot she can only change her own fate and not the fate of others. Once she discovered in her first life he never loved her but was using her. She was able to prevent it the second time around by not marrying him. But, she cannot prevent his fate because in her first life it was his concubine (the general's sister) that killed her son and framed her family. Since she cannot control the fate of others and the in-coming concubine already sees her family as her enemy, there is no way on earth she can prevent the killing of her family this time around and she would be included this time. Let's wait and how she plan to prevent her family annihilation.

She didn't marry the 2nd prince again but she's always getting caught up in his schemes. In this 2nd phase, she discovered how despicable he really is and how cruel her step sister was too. I don't know why she can't just leave the capital and go back home and make a life for herself without all this drama with the 2nd prince. Even though she tried to change a lot of things based on knowledge from her previous rebirth ten years, most of the fated things still happen because the architect of things still made his move. So, he is always ten steps ahead of her. As the saying goes, what is going to be, is going to be!

You got that right! We might as well get a box of tissue set aside in case we need it :)

I want her to do that too, but the guy is devious as we know. Lets see what will happen base on her choice.

I know we just started the drama. But doesn't the poster show the FL and the 9th prince? Why is she stupidly going on a detour when the right road is just in front of her? Even though I'm a woman, but, heaven help us, why are women so complicated?

It was difficult to feel the FL's loss because there was no character building for her family members. I was able to empathize with her loss because I was able to connect with her. Even though the screen time was not much for the characters that died, she had a good relationship with them. She lost her mom on one of the most important days of her life. No good parent can ever over the loss of a child and she encouraged her brother to join the army not knowing she was just a pawn for devil she married and her evil cousin. Bearing all that loss, why did she want history to repeat itself?

I understood when I watched episode 4. But does she have to make the same mistake twice? I wish in reality we were given a second chance to go back in time and fix our mistakes. Lots of people would be deleted from my past. That is what she should have done.

I know right? If only she has fallen in love with him, she wouldn't have to go through the trauma.

I thought she was going to marry the 9th prince. Why will she go back and marry someone that used her and her family as a pawn? Now I am totally pissed! The guy is a terrible human being that is willing to sacrifice anybody and everybody to achieve his ambition. I am so disappointed as well.

Don't give up yet, perhaps the rest of the episodes would explain what was missing. I have only seen the first two episodes too and I am already sad for her. Question, when one reincarnate, don't they forget their past life? Don't hey only come with the face but not the memories? So, how is she coming to revenge after her rebirth? This is terribly confusing!

There might be a reason for her laughter. I felt so sorry for her in episode 2. I wished she had liked the ninth prince instead of the second prince, perhaps her life would have been better. Or she had fallen in love with merchant son like her she would have lived a more peaceful life without losing a child.
