I agree the writer is terribly confused to write such a script. However, does he/she have to confuse the rest of us as well? That's what don't make sense to me!

I know. But some playboy settles down once they fall in love. Once they meet that one girl, they stop their nasty exploits. Playgirls on the other hand are different, they don't fall in love but get married and make the lives of their poor husbands miserable because they cannot just settle with one man since they are attention seekers. I was told a story when I was much younger of a lady that was beautiful beyond words and she capitalized on it. Her parents suffered from the attention she got and the troubles that came from it. Later her husband suffered for it when she decided to marry someone.

She's a female version of a playboy. The society smiles when someone is referred to a playboy but a girl that does the same thing is in big trouble!

@VDN this behavior is called stealing by trick :) You need to watch a couple of episodes and fall in love with the drama, it's that easy!

I think it is the trend in a lot of Asian dramas lately. In reality, it might be difficult to carry on especially presenting yourselves to your families. Once upon a time it was called "snatching from the cradle" in today's society it is called trendy!

@xiviex, I agree with you. If I have some money at that moment and a stranger ask for help, I wouldn't hesitate to help. You might be a con man or an angel, at that moment, I am less concern about that. I only see humanity, to help someone that needs help.

This is a very beautiful drama. I watched both the original and this and to be honest, I can't choose because they both have unique features that make them stand out individually. So, I'm glad I watched both.

Thanks for the explanation. Even from the drama, you can see how the musicians are degraded and treated with condescension. I feel sorry for the three women and the betrayals they suffered at the hands of those they thought loved them. I truly enjoyed the drama and getting to know the historical culture of the Chinese people.

I know, when we don't heal, forgive, and let go, the cycle continues and innocent people gets dragged into it. Unfortunately, childhood trauma is the worst kind. As a child one day she has a beautiful family, the next day it was brutally taken away from her. That's all she remembers, unfortunately every action she takes would have a severe impact on her own family now since she is bent on collecting her pound of flesh!

She promised to pay them bad ten times of what they did to her. So, seducing her nemesis was part of her plan to destroy the prime minister's daughter's family because her father's company was given to him after her father was murdered. You can understand her anger as a child, her loving family was forcefully taken away from her. She saw everything that happened before they killed her father. No child will ever forgive or forget what they did to her family.
