Looking at it from your perspective, perhaps the next episode would explain why she just let go irrespective of how she was being supportive of her mom. Because her mom didn't ask her to do that. I can't wait for this weekend episodes to provide more insight on this difficult situation.

@Shine Son, I'm of a different opinion. To me, she was too quick to let go of the love she profess she has for HJ. Love is not a switch you can flick on and off. When you truly love someone even in a situation such as theirs, you will try to work with the person to find a solution just like their dads were trying to do. But, she didn't do that she just frankly said her mother has gone through a lot, so she goes with her mom. That is painful. I am truly disappointed in her. Giving up her love without a fight. Initially, I thought she would be the one that would be the most devasted given the situation and she was too delicate feelingswise to deal with such a situation. But, I was totally wrong!

That's so true! That's the only way she can escape.

This drama is really interesting. The fight in episode 9 was truly amazing but it was not for the city but for the little flower fairy. It was so funny. But, why did the moon supreme lord say the hurtful words to the orchid in episode 10? But, she planned her revenge perfectly. She knew kissing him in the thunderstorm would make them switch bodies, and she did it to get back at him. Brilliant move!

@OneAjhussi, I don't blame them for rushing stuff or putting everything into one episode considering the length of the drama itself which is only 12. If its like 20, then perhaps they would have a little bit more time. That's my thought.

I know and she almost got Niaoniao in trouble. Thankfully, Zischeng knew she was up to no good. She was the one that suggested sending the tiger seal out of the palace and the dumb crown prince listened to her suggestion.

@Tibbs. I sort of agreed with your thinking but it was amazingly satisfying to watch. Even in that era, a lot of the young ladies were not as outspoken as Niaoniao but every family as one. They are fearless and blunt and does not care about what their status is to the person they are addressing, they only believe fairness, honesty, and speaking their minds. I grew up with one of such people, and she was just as outspoken as Niaoniao and she was raised right!

I think episode 34 explained a bit about it because the father's current wife is Zischeng's mom's cousin, who would technically be his aunt who was staying with the family before the incident in Gu City whipped out the mom's clan. There are some serious stuff going on in this drama, I tell you !

I think episode 34 explained a bit about it as well because the father's current wife is the Zischeng's mom's cousin which would technically be his aunt who was staying with the family before the incident Gu City that whipped out the mom's clan. There are some serious stuff going on in this drama, I tell you !

EP. 28+ are scenes where she was bullied by the princesses at the palace and where she had to decide if she was going to marry the Ling Buyi or not (which was very funny). I commented about that below.

@Yerma. Nice recap. The fate or lives of destined people are always intertwined such is the lives of the now Tang Zhou and Beautiful Bai. As it was in the heavenly realm, TZ is very comfortable and happy around the beautiful lotus fairy. However, what is never meant to be can never be, such is the a fate of Yumo and the beautiful lotus fairy, the are meant to be best friends forever, nothing more and nothing less. I wish they all meet soon, unfortunately only Yumo still has his memories. I would like to see Yumo's reaction.

Episode 34 was just beautiful to watch. It was nice to put stupid people in the place and out of the sights of decent people :)

@Hwayi. It's not that Niaoniao is equally into him but she's a young woman with a strong personality just like him. She doesn't understand what is to love and to be loved. The first time, it took her a minute to understand that he truly like her when her parents told her to decide if she wanted to marry him or not. Also, it took her cousin Yangyang and her friend to make her understand someone that continuously save your life deserves more merits than she is giving him credits for. So, Niaoniao is one exceptional young lady even though she is very outspoken for her era, she's still very naïve in ways of world. Thankfully her personality and outspokenness helped Zisheng to take care of unscrupulous family members.

Thanks so much for the review. Sometimes we need the tacky love story to gladden the heart. Because it is free of pettiness and other stupid stuff. So, I sincerely thank you for writing the review for the English viewers.

@deidra, I agree with you. In my country we call it yam pepper scatter scatter situation, meaning it was a catastrophic situation.
What's the fate of HJ and Mirae now that he found that he's about to marry his aunty's daughter? The couple would be devastated of course as you mentioned. But, let's see what would happen to them? I know if it's in my country, they would not let them get married if they are still engaged but the married ones with children that do not know they were related were the only ones left to continue their relationship because of the children. However, this is a unique situation because these are not just cousins meeting abroad and getting together but adopted brother and long lost sister's children getting together situation. It is most definitely a catastrophic situation!

The storyline is good. Of course I liked how the ML broke the so call formation of the sect.
