This drama is such a beautiful work of art. There are so many unforgettable scenes. Some of my favorites were when Shuang found little Jian'an in the woods, wearing grown-up clothes in disarray. Another instance was when Shuang slept in the same bed as little Juan'an and woke up to find the adult Juan'an. One of the scenes that broke my heart was when they fought in battle, which was so painful to see, as Jian'an had forgotten the woman he loved. Lastly, when she pretended to have lost her memory after waking up from her sleep of death, it was amusing to see Jian'an grasp what was happening.. All in all, it was an exceptional performance from the cast, a true work of art.
No one’s tribulation could be as bad as what Bai Qian went through lol
I know, right? That's my Asian, "Pride and Prejudice".😁😁😁 I've watched that drama so many times and never get tired of it, just like I watch the British Pride and Prejudice.
It's amusing that when Zhen lost her memories, the only person she remembered was her husband, whom she had just met a couple of months ago. Yet she forgot all the friends she's had for 18 years.
Why was the fool, Shu, throwing a tantrum like a five-year-old, all because he didn't get his way? I think what hurt him most was that the evil power he sought was confined within Zhen, and he couldn't release it. All his evil plans backfired; the war he thought would happen when the celestial masters came didn't materialize. Instead, they were defeated, and their cruel leader lost his life, and the infant foul spirit he sought was where he least expected. Too bad the sorry-ass loser couldn't take it. When the Zhuyu herb said Zhen wasn't sick but was going through her calamity, which is her tribulation. It reminded me of Susu (from "Ten Miles of Peach Blossom"). I don't think Zhen's experience during her tribulation would be as bad as Susu's.
Don't you know men are attracted to things they can't have easily? To the men, Zhen is a mountain they must conquer.…
I think it's because she's bold and does not give a damn about public opinion regarding how to live and act. She goes against convention in her mannerisms, and to top it all, she's the empress's little sister.
That evil-minded, vile demon Shu is killing the lesser demons to make Zhen a full demon, what the heck? Why does he go to their house in the middle of the night, anyway? Zhuyu saw him the night his wife came home with wet hair and intentionally kissed his wife for Shu to see. I call that the perfect medicine to feed the sore loser.
The men in this show are simps for real. They all become dumb when it comes to their women 😂. There's nothing…
Don't you know men are attracted to things they can't have easily? To the men, Zhen is a mountain they must conquer. On the other hand, she doesn't give a crap about them.
That's so sac. I really hate that Shu monster!!! He's the one causing Zhen to have the painful episode in the middle of the night. I don't even have the right word to condemn that vile demon.
Lord Shu is really an ASS. How can you tell someone's husband that if your wife comes to see me at night, tell her to dress warmly? The dude has completely lost his mind. Is he trying to break up the new couple? Zhen will never forgive him for this.. Such a sore loser!!!
The sect leader is creating chaos so that he has a valid reason to bring his men to Chang’an and slay the demons.…
Yeah, that was the statement that threw me off. Why does the despicable sect leader hate Zhuyu so much? ZY is the second-to-last brother. Was it because the master favored him? The poor boy was pitiful when the master met him.
It's so apparent that LJH is in love with Mary Poppins. Perhaps he has realized it but didn't want to mess up…
Wow, my friend. You just made me fall in love. That's precisely what the dumb ass guy did. Yet, he refused to accept her acknowledgment of her love or his, for that matter. He also doesn't want his friend to confess to her. I don't get it. They said, 'Eat it.' He said, 'No.' They said to throw it away; he also said, 'No.' What the heck does this dumb guy want? I think he knew since college that she loved him, but he refused to admit it, and he couldn't bear the thought of her being with his best friend. I think he's very selfish. He thought he was smart, but he's the most stupid person on earth. He disrespected his parents by just informing them about his wedding. Even if they're poor, they're still his parents. They deserve better than that from him. I'm not surprised the girl ran out on him at the last moment. His friend warned him, but he wouldn't listen, thinking he was doing what was best for himself and his future.
The sect leader was actually the one who tampered with the platform. The sect leader was the hooded figure who…
That's right. Thanks for the clarity. That's why the headband guy said he was disappointed because he thought their sect was righteous, not the one that hurt people.
I was a bit confused, in his backstory didnt they say they met when they were kids but 18 years ago she was still…
Zhen was a kid then but he wasn't. We saw where he was setting the city on fire and where he told his master he had done what the master wanted him to do. Perhaps he met her after the former Cat Lord had passed his powers to her before the former Cat Lord died.
Ep. 23. I can't think of better words to describe the book demon other than a despicable demon. He was the architect of the heavenly fire that almost killed Zhen 18 years ago, and now he's planning to do worse just to get her to his? I don't think so. She's the Cat Lord who imprisons demons for committing heinous crimes. How will she feel when she knows that her most trusted deputy is the architect of all crimes against humanity? Now, the despicable demon is going all out to kill everyone around her because she doesn't see him as a lover. Will killing all her family and friends make her turn to him or love him? Such wishful thinking!!!
Episode 23. The upright and righteous sect leader is Pei's master of dark magic. What the heck? I was wondering why he didn't do anything when he saw someone tampering with the platform, and how the so-called white light birds could be tainted with black magic, and he didn't say anything wasn't right. It seems he wants Zhu Yu dead. I mean, he Zhu YU messed up his plan at Changan'an. Their master predicted that Zhu Yu was going to leave, yet he gave him the artifact.
So, why did the evil-minded sect leader take it away from Zhu Yu if not to kill him? It's such a shame that their master would entrust his beloved sect to an evil disciple who hurt innocent people for fun. If not, what was the purpose of creating the ink monsters when he was supposed to be the eradicator of demons?

I guess rich boy couldn't tell her because he knew she was crushing on the dumb guy. Why did the dumb guy hurt her so badly . Yet he wouldn't allow the rich guy to confess to her?

What a beautiful proposal!!!
