Thank you to the people explaining that Qian Qian actually comes from the future. Now it makes sense lol. I was wondering why he asked her who she truly was. It did feel like she appeared out of nowhere and the drama did a really good job at making her different from other characters. She had that mysterious aura around her, quite attractive and it was really interesting to watch, such a great character.
kdramas have only gotten better now. Sure there's still a lot of garbage now but just as much as there was back…
Because a lot of kdramas watchers are young and there was a surge of watchers during Covid. I remember reading a thread on a kdrama forum titled "what's your first kdrama ?". Most answers were kdramas from 2020s but it's true that a lot of kdramas (from the early 2010s especially) aged poorly. They look a least a decade older visually but i do think Goblin stood the test of time in terms of cinematography, OST or story.
A really good, fun and romantic drama, basically everything we ask for when it comes to romance, comedy and historical drama. The OST is also worth mentioning, i really liked that they had different versions of the main song depending on the scene. It really deserves a better rating. Special mention for the eating machine Aeng Do. All of her scenes were hilarious, she was too cute and really brightened the drama.
I'm sorry but this was one of the most boring movie i have ever seen. The end is great but the build up was so long and boring. So much time spend with the teacher's sister, only for her to be completely irrelevant. 1/3 of the theater literally left halfway through the movie, i have never seen that.
Those who criticize So Hyun's acting have never seen Missing You and don't know shit, she was already an actress when Song Kang was still going through puberty. She is very versatile and has nothing to prove anymore.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but for once, i had no problem with the amnesia, the second one at least because it was subtly foreshadowed with the first amnesia though he did promise not to forget again lol. The first one didn't really matter, i think its only purpose was to prepare for the second one and final twist. At least, it wasn't just dropped out of nowhere.
Did ryang eum like hyun romantically, I don't understand his feelings
Yes obviously. All his actions and words point towards it. Plus when he saw Gil Chae after getting out of the cell, he literally confessed that he was his secret love.
hot take: I feel like it would've resonated much more, if he had returned to his normal hard life but made up…
I absolutely agree. Yes his family went through some hardship but that's what makes the bond in his family so beautiful. Erasing that was a big mistake in my opinion because that's what made them so close. I have a hard time believing that they would be such a lovely family if they all had a dream life from the start.
