the rating is super high, is it accurate? I am pretty critical of everything i watch so would love some input…
It's an excellent drama for sure but the best rated ? I don't think so. Still, you can't go wrong with this drama, it's worth the watch but it also depends if you like that type of "light" drama.
Excellent drama no doubt but i feel like it needed one or two more episodes. The romance between Yi Chan and Cheong Ah was underdeveloped in my opinion. We know how she fell in love but i still don't know how he fell in love. He was absolutely in love with Se Kyeong but then it changed suddenly. How ? Why ? How did Cheong Ah "seduced" him ? And what happened after he lost his hearing ? I wish we saw them together after the accident. The father also said he would send her overseas so how did they end up together ? By the way, what happened to the evil brother ? Moreover Se Kyeong and Eun Yu's story was also incomplete. What did Eun Yu want to ask her parents ? How is her life like after they came back ? Did Se Kyeong change ? Is she happy ? Still married to her first love ? What about her relationship with her biological father ? We don't know anything about that. Plus the twist of the master being the grandfather just left me confused lol.
The drama was so good but there's too many unanswered questions for me, it's frustrating.
Just rewatched it and it was still so beautiful and emotional. The romance was also absolute perfection, it was everything i'm craving for, the kind of love that can litteraly last centuries. The ending scene still shakes my heart.
A good and sweet drama but nothing exceptional. I waited too long for another Kim So-Hyun drama so it felt a bit disappointing. Too many unecessary moments (the festival ...), it would have been better with 10 or 12 episodes and the story with J Entertainment's president could have been better exploited. Overall pretty good and confortable to watch.
Don't get fooled by the ratings for this drama. People just didn't like the outcome of the love triangle otherwise they wouldn't hate this drama so much. How can you objectively hate a drama this much ? it doesn't deserve such a low rating, the hate train is ridiculous. A bad drama is a boring one. The true bad dramas are the ones so bad/boring we don't even bother to finish it and i'm pretty sure most people here were immersed/interested enough in this drama to finish it. Of course there are critics to be made like the change of director that made it look like a diffenret drama, the pace, the fact that it didn't continue season 1's last scene or the overall scenario but come on ! 12% of the ratings were 2 or below, you can't be serious ! There are way worse dramas than this with better ratings.
The drama was still well-filmed, the OST is absolute top tier, the actors were great, there were some really sweet and romantic scenes (when he rang her alarm on purpose, when she used the arrow) ... As a fan of romance in general, i was pretty satisfied.

For those who watched both, do you recommend to watch this or the original tawainese version first ?
