The kdrama that made me fall in love with kdramas. Probably not the best kdrama to start with because of the heavy topics lol.
I think the biggest "problem" of this drama is that Kim So Hyun and Yeo Jin Goo did such a phenomenal job that it is very hard to move on from their story and feel emotionally attached to the adult characters and because their story didn't really have a conclusion, i was stuck in the past and it felt like watching two different dramas. Somehow, i feel like i want the rest of their story even if we already got it with the adult version lol or maybe a different timeline ... who knows ? Now that they are both adults, maybe they could do a remake with a different story ? i can only dream lol but i really want another KSH and YJG kdrama now.
A cute little drama. The only thing i didn't like was the ex and his crazy behaviour. Other than that, i liked the flashbacks, how it progressed with the present, how their relationship was build from the start with the theme of fate.
Kim So Hyun really thrives in this kind of role. Bright and cute characters are what she portrays the best and it's always a pleasure to see her portray those characters.
I feel like this community and I have different tastes lol. It's not the drama of the year but it was decent enough to get me hooked. I think it was more interesting when Kang Ha was the main character. To me the biggest problem of this drama is the end and the reveal of the killer. It was pretty disappointing.
I feel like 8 is very generous. Nothing happened. They introduced a bunch of new characters nobody cares about and who are just annoying and for those we do know, they either die or we don't care anymore since season 1 was decades ago ...
I don't understand the need for a 2nd season. The story of the first one has been finished completely. Half of the characters of the first season who made the show won't be there. There's only the 2 main characters left, it will be a completely different drama.
To be honest, i'm quite sad and disappointed that this drama is an Amazon Prime exclusive. I feel like it didn't get the exposure and fame it deserves. This is honestly one of the best dramas i've watched. It's not perfect, it was a bit slow in the middle but it's a really good blend of thriller, comedy and mystery. The chemistry between the main characters made the show. It was great and funny but also very touching.
Did you guys also complain when Suzy, Cha Eunwoo, Kyungsoo, Jinyoung, IU, Taecyeon, Jisoo, Rowoon, Siwon, Yoona, Sungjae, V, Nana, Joy, Suho, Kwon Nara, Min-ho, Kim Se-jeong and countless more went into acting ?
Plus, it's an independant film. None of you would have even heard about it or give a damn about it if it wasn't for her. If I wanted to be provocative, i would say it's nice of her to help her costars be more famous lol.
I just noticed after rewatching it that the ending monologue in episode 1 is actually in the present (2027) because she is talking about the train scene.
for those wondering about the ending they did in fact get back together but the translation sucks so it is easy…
Wow ! Really big thank you for clarifying it ! I watched it with french subtitles and in that scene, the subs said "Laisse-moi tranquille, maintenant" which translates to "leave me alone/in peace now". I was so confused, i thought he rejected her and then they hugged and said they missed each other. It makes the ending way more understandable and if they ended up together or not. I really hate when subtitles are so ambiguous during such important scenes ! That's why i prefer fan made subs.
