Who knows maybe they changed a lot in the script during filming and she was given a different script earlier. It happens a lot in c-industry. The thing with other periodical dramas is that they focused mostly on the leads and their love story. . But this was one was going off in all sort of directions.

From what I have seen even her fans weren't that excited for this drama. Her next two dramas are more promising. She has Zhan Zhao Adventures with Yang Yang and I live in your time which has the same director as amidst a snow storm of love and sniper butterfly. I don't know why she picked live up to your youth drama. The script is so bad. I hope she doesn't pick scripts like this again. With the face card like that she should be doing more modern and costume dramas.

I haven't watched the latest episodes yet. I was too disgusted with Ran Ran's character sleeping with that old creepy guy. Initially her character was more positive . They showed her bonding with others. Then they have to introduce this old creepy dude and ruin everything. I don't get what the writer was thinking. Any sane person would predict how the audience will react to this and not going to be happy with it. From the posters and the name I thought it will be different kind of show but it turned out to be too traumatising.

I can'e believe that director and screen write did that to Ran Ran's character. You can show her struggles like she fails auditions, plays side roles, humiliations so many million things you can show. But we get this story line with creepy old dude. It gets worse and worse. Honestly want to drop this but putting up with it for ZRN. At least they haven't destroyed her character.

Checked this out for ZRN. The girl totally owns the screen. The plot is confusing and I am not sure where this is going. I mainly enjoyed watching ZRN's scenes with Jelly Lin. Ran Ran's scenes with her boss are so off putting. I think it's unnecessary to even have this boss character. They should have centred this drama around main leads & second leads and their struggles and dreams.

Honestly I wish they chose a different male lead for obvious reasons considering that he was involved with dating someone 16 years age gap. It kinda irks me. Men get away with most things but women usually face the consequence in the industry.

I will watch the episodes today and see. I have seen comments below mention that they could have kept the second male lead scenes as flashbacks instead which would have been better. The storyline needs to be more engaging.

I watched the first episodes. The story seems all over the place and confusing. They keep on showing the second ml more which is off putting. More likely to drop this one.
