it seems it was not properly edited to capture the intent of the story of the writers. the story is interesting because we saw mr.brain the 2006 Jdrama
but the post production i think that is what's missing on the series
One word you can watch this series all over again this love month one of the good kdrama-romance series, not over the top, it will let you scape from reality while watching this series, the only downside is it will leave feeling empty and longing for encore and sequel of the series

but for the title The Intimate Traitor? does it mean the father no longer fond of his daughter, intimate for your daughters presence is carrying doubts for you as a father and as a criminal profiler.

damm this is very different from juvenile justice
this is rare now adays,
a series with 16 episodes, it feels like i time traveled to previous years
we normally get 6 - 10 episode, 12 if we are lucky
this is a very welcome change
