For the Jianmu fruit scene, I definitely laughed hard because of the camera work and the transition between Ye Tan's POV and our POV, but I didn't replay it as much as the other scenes because I was getting second-hand embarrassment.🤣YQ punishing YT for escaping to the mortal realm: Not gonna lie; my thoughts while watching that scene at the time was that the punishment YQ gave YT was too light because I felt that YT didn't really learn from or admit her mistakes at the time.

I was definitely in love by then and was excited to know what would happen next. The drone view of the purple-white and blue-white colors that shows the contrast of the 2 realms that are there to pick up the brides is so pretty, as is the love bridge scene; it was so beautiful to the point that I kept on rewinding to watch it again. Still one of my top favorite scenes. Love the never-ending bickering of YT and YQ, and the way they just keep on judging each other in their heads is hilarious.🤣🤣

YT- Ohh~ What a badass! I thought she was like, really powerful and was just hiding it (during the first minutes of the Wangliang City scene) it was only until she came out running out of the restaurant that I realized it was all a scam.🤣

It's indeed a good thing that CXX took on this role. It's so annoying whenever I see a CP fan or a fan of East Palace itself compare it to his currently airing dramas. The number of times I keep on seeing edited clips of East Palace posted by fans whenever he has a new drama airing, and the comments that keep on comparing, whether it's the plot, how his face is more handsome in East Palace, or the chemistry he has with his co-star, is so exhausting.

Nah, I don't think so. There is still Peng Xiaoran, his drama and chemistry with her are unforgettable to the point that whenever he has a new drama C-netz keeps on comparing it to East Palace.

I'm currently on Ep. 9, and I'm pretty confused about something, was Liang Tao trying to get revenge for her sister by doing all those things to that woman with the glasses? The timing just seemed too perfect for it to be purely coincidental.

The way he cried was so heart-breaking; he didn't sob, didn't scream, didn't make a single sound, but the way his eyes were so red with tears in addition to his facial expressions SCREAMED just how heartbroken he was; his acting was superb! He was and still is the reason why I was crying FULL ON at the coffin scene.

I didn't add Qinkui's sacrificing herself scene here because I honestly didn't felt sad or anything by it compared to when Manman died, maybe because it has something to do with me knowing full well that there is a chance for her to come back while Man2 doesn't.

I'm still on episode 3, but I'm already liking this; already an achievement since I'm not a fan of modern dramas, even more so for those that have a huge age gap or "noona romance"😅; so far, Im loving the interaction of the leads, a short-tempered guy who has past issues but still kind, and a mature and intelligent woman. I love Wu lei in this, and might I also add that the FL is so beautiful! 💛
