I agree with Juuu. In some way she should have known. At this point there are a couple and we assume they know each other. The problem here is that FL is self-centered because of the walls she has created surrounded about money. I understand her background. However, ML tried really hard to break those walls and be more a healthy couple. And here is the communication problem. How would you tell someone who you know that her world revolves around money, hard work and you know that she will breakdown about it. She doesn't have that quality to support. I know it's stupid how he break-up. Unfortunately, in the real world if you don't have that strong hold and stability in your relationship to rely on each other this is what happens. You lie and try to resolve it own your own.
