I enjoyed the cinematography and switches between Korean and Japanese ever since “what comes after love” I hoped for more Korean and Japanese kdramas. I like how the jobs are different in this K drama like she’s an actress and he’s an interpreter. We never really see like different types of jobs in K drama. We always get the same CEO and employee type of relationship here we get to see more in depth of being an interpretor. Muhee waking up famous makes up for the six month coma that director caused.

You can tell Muhee and Mr joo we’re both attracted to one another after the first meet. It’s just that I feel like Mr joo avoids his feelings he clearly like munhee but yet acts as if it’s because he’s just there to interpret. As the show goes on there isn’t much romance between the two main leads. Because Mr joo is so avoidant he lost his chance to confess to his crush before. He’s such a coward Ngl. Muhee is also avoidant as well but in a different way. As soon as Mr joo and her are on good terms she self sabotages and causes even more misunderstandings.

The second lead

Hiro is such an asshole especially in episode 4 . Like I get it u helped her from falling when she fainted and u expect a thank you . Sometimes when someone almost faints it’s not like have a memory cuz what they see is fuzzy kinda. He could now after having a translator bring it up instead of still acting all entitled. He so arrogant. I still root for Mr joo he helped her find hiro. Cuz hiro being a petty person was gonna keep letting go of balloon while moving in a bicycle making her run everywhere. Just because she doesn’t remember him catching her cuz she fainted like? So childish and inconsiderate. I feel like hiros contacts being lost was a lie after he said “this is the worse” to muheee leaf heart. He so mean for what?

Mr joo should tell muhee what hiro actually said but then again she’d probably freak out and ruin the filming. The filming is already ruined because of hiro so he could just tell muhee.

The translation

If muhee is having a hard time understanding hiro, why doesn’t she just use the translator that she’s been using since episode one. Like did the plot just drop that?

The split personality

The split personality doesn’t quite fit in with this show Ngl. It’s very minor and should fit in romance with Mr joo instead.

Jisun and Mr joo

Why doesn’t mr joo clarify he’s not into jisun anymore yet he still acts like he is when muhee is around. After the back n forth with Mr joo’s brother I ended up skipping her scenes. She was quick to get with yongu as well. Didn’t care for their relationship at all. It’s crazy how three guys wanted her when she’s like literally basic. She barely had any personality.

Mr joo and his mom

Mr joo reconnecting with his is just filler episodes honestly if I were him i wouldn’t reconnect with her she went no contact with him for 13 years and is now getting married it took someone who didn’t know that she was Mr joo mom for them to talk. could’ve just not shown the mom instead build more plot around hiro and the other characters.

Second lead vs First lead

The difference between hiro and Mr joo is that hiro isn’t a coward in love. He’s willing to tell the girl he likes in front of reality tv. On their other hand mr joo is avoidant to his feelings and doesn’t confess.

Even if hiro and muhee speak the same language he still won’t win her over. If was live at first sight in a way between muhee and Mr joo.

I would skip this season

I got so mad when Lee dongwhi forgot him and Ihji’s anniversary and pulled so much excuses instead of putting effort. And when Hong yeon and Yechan told him to make a declaration of love in public he ruined it. Telling the whole school how he didn’t have 500 won for her anniversary gift and no letter for her. Their breakup was reasonable not only it humiliating but sad. It’s as if he only started caring after Ihji broke up with him. This season was great until they answered an agency’s phone call that offered Yechan and Hong yeon a lot of money. Mainly Hong yeon was persistent on the money. But that meant they had to break up for Yechan to go on the dating show. Yechan didn’t want to and Hing yeon really scraped their relationship for money. I really began to hate her for this. Yechan still went on the dating show and still made time for Hong yeon. Then Hing yeon has the audacity to get jealous after she basically forced Yechan to go on the dating show for money and even deleted their couple channel and pictures for money. She was really selfish this season. I really wanted to see more reviews saying the same thing but instead many people blamed Yechan for their break up. In the end it was a happy ending for them to get back together with a bit of a love triangle. I really felt like Yechan was too good for Hong yeon. I mean he did defend and love her for 10 years straight just for them to break up because she wanted money. I would say maybe skip this season.

Best season out of all seasons

Yechan is a green forest I really feel like he was kind of too good for Hong yeon. Overall their relationship was cute to watch especially their couple vlogs. And the fact he liked her for 10 years???? I really enjoy the childhood friends to lovers. I’m currently on my Choi hyun wook era. Seeing him with brace was so cuteeee. I really hated Hong yeon’s ex he has so much audacity. He even threaten her twice about exposing them being a fake couple. He has no room to even speak to her again after the 1st season. I’m glad Yechan stood up to this guy bro.

I didn’t exepect to like this show a lot

It starts off interesting we see Wen yifan reject Sang yan. “Wen Yifan was I really just your back up” from just the start I thought “ oh wow did she break his heart, did she cheat on him, what exactly happened” just this scene alone made me keep watching. I just think the second couple deserved more screen time than giving up their screen time for the second lead’s grand parents .After a few episodes it gets revealed slowly why the show started off the way it did. We get to know why she left for Yihe University instead of Nanwu University with Sang yan like they promised each other. I felt so bad for Sang yan because he was really there for her. But then again I can see why Wen yifan rejected Sang yan at first going through all she did there was really no time for her to date. She had to mature early because her mother, uncle, and aunt weren’t being an adult figure for her after her father passed. We don’t get to see many scenes between Wen yifan and her father but her father explains Wen yifan’s birthday, she was born on a day where the weather is the coldest which is why It is called “The First Frost”. At first I wondered why she was so distant with her mom but after the flashbacks it’s reasonable because I hate hate I mean loathe her mother but mainly her aunt because she knew what her cousin was capable of and kept covering for him. It’s the fact her mom knew her Wen yifan’s Uncle Che was weird and still sent her daughter to live with her uncle and aunt. I didn’t expect a plot twist in this show. Wen yifan’s Uncle Che ended not only being a sexual assault offender but also a murder??? I’m glad he was locked up in the end but the justice was far too late in my opinion. I really really hate her mom that’s how good the acting is though I won’t forgive her if I was Wen yifan. Back then she called her mom many times crying that she wanted to go home. Her mom just told her to stop crying and she’ll talk with her Uncle Wen and her aunt ??? Then by episode 24 her mom comes crawling back to her saying her new family that she left Wen yifan for left her lmao the irony. Wen yifan finally got her closure but I felt so scared that she would now think it’s the time to have her mom back in her life and forgive her. Wen yifan thankfully didn’t because her mom honestly failed as a mom and a person too. I’m really upset that her dreams as a ballerina ended because of her creep Uncle Che kept trying to sexually assault her. He continues to even when Sang yan protects Wen yifan. Uncle Che is very disgusting props to the actor he acted so got it made my blood boil. I honestly thought Sang yan was gonna kill Uncle Che when they fought the 2nd time. Overall, thankfully Uncle Che is jailed and We get to see Wen yifan dance again and see Wen yifan and Sang yan reconcile after she leaves for Hong Kong because of Uncle Che. Seeing her dance again made me so happy like I just watched their jounery together.

Her best friend is the only thing i didn’t like

Jiyue was so annoying when she played basketball she beat up everyone. That was not funny as was supposed to be it was foul. Not just that she’s basically forced the guy she likes to hang out with her when he has a part time job to get to. She obnoxious and rude it is not cute at all. Her personality is just her being all rowdy. Her character should have development and she still hasn’t any through most of the episodes. I kinda skip her scenes. She always is man handling her crush too like girl… overall good show I just don’t like her character.

This show worth the watch if you have seen Thamepo!

I didn’t expect to like this series.
I noticed one of the main leads was from “Don’t Say No” as a side couple. I really enjoyed his acting especially paired with an actor I haven’t seen before. Overall plot was great and cute. I feel like Akin at first comes off as caring and confident which I like. His break down on feeling like he was becoming less popular was very emotional. Going from once a star that shines so brightly to now dim was hard for him. The negative comments “fans” had commented on Akin being light to how actors are really treated in the industry especially in modeling. They do things they do not like but feel obligated to because it may boost their acting careers. It is very competitive in the industry. This series coming after watched Thamepo was great timing.
