This love triangle is really irritating me, and mostly because Hyun Jin doesn't really seem to know what she wants. From the preview it's clear that she's going to go on dates with the 2ML, all the while knowing that the ML has feelings for her. To me, doing that is a pretty clear indication that she doesn't have feelings for the ML, so then why can't she just clear that up instead of stuttering and looking confused all the time? Given how strong the 2ML was coming on, why was she so flustered when he suggested that they date?
The ML already suffered enough he was devoid of love all his life was also pining for brother and now what he is going for a girl who is infatuated with some guy. I hope a new girl arrives who loves him. Even the baby is being sidelined now.
Don't let edits deceive you like it did with me, cause this move is not all that. When into it thinking it would be great, but ended up being disappointed. The main problem was the plot and writing. The premise was good, the execution fell short. Only upside to this movie is the actors, especially the FL. Lastly, I think this would've been better if it was a 12 episode drama.
This drama feels like a warm hug, and if they execute this right it will be my new favourite drama ever. I am absolutely ecstatic that it appears there will be multiple romances for all the ages. The grandma and shop owner look so amazing together.
So Kang Hyeokchan is/was the FL's boyfriend who was also in Boston University. Seonu Chan is probably his friend/labmate/roommate. And somehow he ends up talking/messaging the girlfriend (FL) of his friend. I think the laptop was most likely not his, and was for Kang Hyeokchan.
In the first episode, you notice the phone was on the opposite table, probably where Kang Hyeokchan sat and he probably stepped out for a bit and ML ends up listening to her as she spoke.
For whatever unknown reason, ML is using boyfriend's laptop so he ends up talking to her via a messaging app. (All this time, he's developing feelings for her..)
So when she announces she's coming to Boston, ML runs to the lab to tell Kang (her actual boyfriend) but there is an accident and everyone gets caught in it. ML survives while Kang who was inside died.
This man is so whipped for her that he's looking for excuses not to move into his dream home.
Besides the the daycare scene which was adorable, there wasn't much to talk about in EP 6. Just a whole bunch of scenes with 2nd ML, and I'm pretty sure people are getting tired of it by now judging from the comments.
We're already at the halfway stage now. If nothing happens between our leads in the next episode, this drama will probably drag this love triangle out until the 10th episode and give us a rushed ending as we are often used to. With that being said, I hope there's actual progression between our leads next week and the FL makes up her mind.
The whole “I’m suppose to be Bae Suzy” convo had me dying. Man was shocked at the audacity. I do hope the love triangle doesn't occupy soo much time . I'am here for the baby and Co parenting shenanigans and cutesy romcom, not angst and sml creating problems for the main couple.
Me and the 10% of Mina Sue & Sunghun fans are happy. She got the man that checks all her boxes and Sunghun got the girl he loved since day 1. The best couple. Thank you Singles Inferno for making season 5 one of the best ones.
Let's be real here, it's hard for a remake to be better than the original. Regardless on what some people are saying in the comments below, the Korean remake is pretty good. Now I'm sure the Japanese version is 1000x better, but I never watched it. Choo Youngwoo and Shin Shiah did a great job as the main leads and had amazing chemistry. I hope they do more projects together in the future, like maybe a romcom. Overall great move, but now my heart hurts😭
Once you get pass the AI in the intro+outro this is actually a pretty good drama. I hope they don't insert some murder mystery into all of this, already on top of a love triangle when it's only 12 episodes, but you just know it's going to happen. You have enough content just from the 2 of them living together, taking care of the baby and juggling their work.
Lastly, I'm rooting for Roh Jeong-eui success cause I know she is a good actress and I love her in 18 Again and Our Beloved Summer. It's just that her choices recently for projects are questionable. So far though I'm enjoying this drama, just hope the script is good.
Some scenes felt very rushed, but overall the plot is still good, I'll continue watching it. Also the baby is pretty freaking cute! I am so interested in how they would have shot his parts.
Cheating rumours aside, on paper Sunghun might be the best male contestant for this season. Heesun taking Sunghun to paradise was low-key the best thing to happen during this weeks episodes. We got to learn so much about him. Also unpopular opinion, but Goeun's love story with the 3 guys is boring af.
Episode 6 absolutely wrecked me in the softest way possible. The final scene had it in spades. I could sense Eunho's desperation as she searched the hospital beds for Siyeol, and their embrace was well worth the wait .
On top of that, the family moments were gold. A mischievous daughter living her best life, a playful dad fully encouraging her chaos, and an overwhelmed mom who pretends to be strict but clearly loves them both to bits 😭 They were radiating strict-mom-meets-girl-dad energy the entire episode, and it added so much warmth and balance to all the emotional heaviness.
This episode had love, fear, comfort, and family all woven together so naturally. I really wanted Siyeol's best friend to be a nice guy, but he’s going to end up on the dark side because of his greed for money and fame I fear…
Episode 4 is finally delivering on some of that promised romcom! loved their bickering, they're finally equals and Eunho is so adorable now that she can't rely on her powers. and the way he takes care of her, he can lie to himself and say it’s just bc he needs her for their mission but i see through him. excited for where this is headed, the preview for next episode is giving us answers on some of the mysteries as well as giving us more Siyeol and Eunho moments.
Waiting for the next episodes to drop feels like an eternity. Also did anyone else notice Yejin leaning on Sunghun's shoulder and holding hands with him during the truth game?!?! Like why did they skipped over them??? We need context...
Ok I know it’s only the first four episode but Mina Sue damn girl 😭😭😭 I was rooting for her until she was flip flopping her decisions with every influence, but still imma give her the benefit of the doubt since there’s so many episodes left but the trailers isn't helping her case. She's giving us the drama though, I'll give her that much.
With that said, I didn't like the last 3 seasons but this season has been really entertaining so far. Lastly, I feel kinda bad for Sunghun... I hope he can get to know the other girls or with the catfish, who knows though maybe Mina Sue will comeback to him lol.
All throughout this episode I was so mad at Hangyul. He had no business trying to make the whole team lose just because he wants his crush to win. that's simply just wrong. Even that grandma gave her all and wanted to win but he was out there sabotaging everyone in his group. it wasn't funny or cute AT ALL. If it were his personal competition, where he's participating alone and not in a group I wouldn't have minded a bit but him doing this is just utterly selfish!
