Damn that last scene in episode 5 was bittersweet. Love the idea behind it and the portrayal
It's so heartbreaking yet beautiful how Hyeon Woo stares on and the lamppost is suddenly turned on while a memory of his play and they're discussing about car accidents (ironic). Also i was a bit confused but after the preview I'm def sure now Sun Hui is the culprit of all cases. Her parents' behaviour is telling.
Wow, what an enjoyable drama! The acting was super on point. I'm not a fan of him, but Kim Seonho pulled it off very well. The last episode wasn't a let down. It's a climax and it pays off well until the end. I would've preferred some backstory on the project and other things, but I still enjoyed a lot. I'm not really surprised because it's indeed got the same vibes as The Witch, which I loved as well. Super recommended if it speaks anything to you.
The way I understood it is that the boyfriend was too low social status for her and since she was hesitant to get married, he decided he had to lower her status in society, therefore he went to the couple manager woman and asked for help. She sent the man that seduced the girlfriend and put her on a wheelchair. The boyfriend then thought he was finally higher in status with the promotion etc. But his girlfriend found out about the plan from the couple manager so she also asked the business woman to help her lower his social status so she could never lose him. That's exactly what happens because she sent a woman to seduce her boyfriend and then stab his eye. You can see in the end they do get married and people don't know that he's clumsy because of his fake eye and they are fake as hell. It's basically karma.
