I swear to god when Su Jong woke up and everyone was on that rooftop again and he said I had a nightmare I was shivering in fear like no this can't be be FR i will riot haha
I hate when dramas do this. Min Hwal Seong is a scumbag, nothing could ever explain or justify as to why he cheated on his wife and then they try to make you pity him whole episode. Cause of course he is jumping in a ridiculous fall and save his wife so we can't even rejoice that indeed finally he died like he deserved. He did not deserve any act of redemption imo.
I can’t even root for him, he’s a different kind of evil
I don't think he's really evil, at least not a standard villain type of evil. I don't root for him, I don't think there's anyone to root for in this kind of drama/story. I'm just annoyed that it feels like he doesn't care if his wife cheated on him or not. Cheating for me is disgusting
I thought I would survive not giving a f*ck about Kim Seon but the way she's so mean to her husband and Gyeong makes me so annoyed. Also Su Jong wtf have some pride
This drama is weirdly entertaining. The one thing I hate is whatever is wrong with Kim Seon and Hwal Seong after…
That scene with Yona and the Japanese guy surely was something.....disturbing how she came back and whacked him plenty of times. I didn't even need to see, the sound alone terrified me.
After 2nd episode I can say whatever this got it's enjoyable asf. It's a bit emotional, a bit comedic (without cringe), absurd situations, suspense, bit of dark. I like the balance so far.
I just watched this movie in the cinema today and I also have a Polish version of this website where I rate movies…
It's a long story so to make it short: he was cancelled from promos because Korean society is unable to forgive a drug scandal (even when it's clearly about medical treatment) and therefore you're canceled from promoting your works for the sake of self-reflection. At the time the movie was screened in SK he was still awaiting the last ruling from the trial too. He served 5 months in prison and then they finally released him and put him on probation (for 2 years still). Side note: this movie and The Match were both supposed to come out years ago but the drug scandal made it impossible until 2025. Both commercial successes by the way, plus YAI was nominated for The Match by the directors in the industry :)
So is he going to continue working in kdrama and movies?
Technically the industry would accept him back because his movies are a success + acting skills. It's also a fact directors want to work with him and have nominated him for The Match despite the outrage from haters. There is nothing impossible, since other popular actors recovered from similar scandals. It will take time for him to recover and korean public to stop caring as much though.
I finally watched this movie! It was really enjoyable. I would have preferred to see more of the "family" together. Also never enough of Yoo Ah In: I would have watched a whole movie only on his character.
It's already stressful enough, why do I have to wait to know and why the rain!?
Also Seo Ji Hoon and Shin Ye Eun never disappoint me.
