Title Pilot Spoiler
does he become a better person or is he just avoiding all his responsibilities again??
He does become a better person, and takes full responsibility for everything he said and the fake identity. Not only he understands what women in his field go through now, he also becomes less selfish when it comes to his ex wife and son. The ending is also really freeing for him, and the colleague he deceived, she forgave him and understood he wasn't all that bad.

Title Pilot
Just finished it. Nice. The perfect movie for Saturday evenings to laugh and rest. This is exactly what Jo Jung Suk does best. He's surprisingly convincing as a woman. The story is pleasant; can't ask for activism when the story is more a comedy about a man becoming a better person than social issues. I also liked the other actors: Shin Seung Ho makes for a perfect annoying misogynist here and Yun Seul Gi had great chemistry with Jo Jung Suk. It's worth watching if you're interested in the actors or genre.

Maybe most watched out of curiosity. I am not so sure a 2nd season would reach that high or anyone will watch…
And we don't care about your weird preference for men tbh.

Also sorry you felt that way. You probably related too much to the character and it happens. But I think Yeongseo…
Sadly many kdramas are about competition, or showcase a really strong competition among the leads. South Korea is like that, the society is toxic and super competitive. The only tip I can give is to avoid dramas with clear competition from the start..

Unpopular opinion: Yeong Seo's Asadal was better. She worked so hard and I can't just take my mind off the fact…
Also sorry you felt that way. You probably related too much to the character and it happens. But I think Yeongseo wasn't pitiful at all, of course she wasn't the main lead and she didn't have to come back to the scene, and that's also why they were rooting for Jeongnyeon that was at disadvantage.
Hard work doesn't always result to the outcome you wish for. This drama was really too realistic.
Still, it's fiction. Please don't let it dictate your real life, keep trying and living. Eventually we all come to a point where we accept our limits and not beat ourselves too hard for failing.

I don't think you're correct 100%. At the beginning, Jeongnyeon had the talent but struggled to be recognised…
Btw I thought Yeongseo was always great when performing, but Jeongnyeon somehow was always at the top even when she lost her voice imo. Maybe it's because it's Kim Taeri idk.

I don't think you're correct 100%. At the beginning, Jeongnyeon had the talent but struggled to be recognised and become a trainee even, while Yeongseo was appreciated. Jeongnyeon worked hard as much, the reality is that talent ultimately will make you stand out for some parts, more than others. Jeongnyeon was unparalleled at singing and she lost that, so she overcame the issue by tackling other skills.
Also I think you missed the point of Yeongseo's storyline. She struggled so hard because her mom wanted her to, and she believed that the right thing was to always be the best and beat Jeongnyeon. Eventually, the point is that she comes to care for her rival and troupe as friends, understanding that being the best isn't important, trying and doing your best while enjoying is. Being jealous that Jeongnyeon beat her even at the last episode would be meaning that she didn't mature.

For me overall, Ok Gyeong have more charism. Her entrance, her posture, gesture, her eyes. Her body languange…
Different vibes, characters and actresses. Was just a brief moment because of similar make-up.
I love how they take and own completely different routes from the same lead start.

Hyerang was really pitiful in the last episode. The director saying those words to her...I realised how Hyerang didn't really love herself without Okgyeong and even more now she thinks herself, this Hyerang, hopeless and ugly. I believe in the end she will understand how to see a better Hyerang and work towards it.

I would like if in the last episode, somehow, Okgyeong and Hyerang walk in and see Yeongseo and Jeongnyeon nailing the performance, saving their legacy in a way, protecting the troupe and that's the birth of two new stars.

Damn. For a brief second I thought Juran would kiss Jeongnyeon in the last scene. When she went for the hug, the body language was totally giving desperate when she touched her face..like leaning in for a kiss. You cannot convince me this is not a scripted scene from a romance drama where the straight couple would've kissed as a goodbye kiss.

If someone told me the whole tragedy that happened to Jeongnyeon would be what unites her and Yeongseo as friends...at what cost at what cost. But finally. And Yeongseo smiles so bright. It's a blessing in tragedy

Was certainly a shock to see Hyerang so uninterested to take care of her looks once Okgyeong is gone. Yet people say there is no romance in the drama.
Anyways I can't believe she still won't apologise to Jeongnyeon.
"That's how little you meant to Okgyeong"
"You should also let her go. There's no point holding on to someone who's never coming back".
Today's episode is hitting hard with them words...

I usually don't care about ratings because they're subjective but I've said this already and i'll say it again,…
It's a 50-episode drama. Either people gave up after a couple episodes, or they wanted romance, or they hate politics. Of course I rated 10 because it's what it deserves.
