First part 11/10Second part: 8.5/10It was all fun & intriguing before everything was in speculations...but... but... but...Everything became very stale and boring when things started to unfold, and damn my eyes, TF was that cringe ending!I was like, WTF am I watching.....Was this the show I was enjoying a couple of weeks ago?Well, I can't say more about it. It had an opportunity to be an excellent 2k24 series, but the author was probably too afraid of the renown he would receive if it became too popular, which is why he presumably went aloof with the second half of the plot. ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
Currently I'm at episode 2, and I have a crazy assumption that Sang U is the stalker of Hui Ju.The way he got introduced to everything that happened in episode 2 makes me believe that he's the villain here....Correct me if I'm wrong...
Watch it for yourself.Good or bad solely depends on how you measure it.So give it a try for about 2-3 episodes.…
Nah! The CGI never gets better! It's still the same shitty CGI up to episode 16... Those who say the CGI is astounding have either never watched something with good CGI or they're simply brainrot fanboys/fangirls.
Watch it for yourself. Good or bad solely depends on how you measure it. So give it a try for about 2-3 episodes. I guess you'll find out by then whether it's for you or not. For me, I'm currently at episode 14 and barely watching it with lots of skipping! As for why continuing it, I just want to watch the soul beast fights and spirit ring collection part and some part of the story that seems interesting to me...
So this is the so-called better adaptation they promised us and kept us waiting for years. I see why this is getting all the hate from most of the netizens and international viewers. Honestly, I can't blame them! A better adaptation than DC? Obviously yes. Good adaptation from the novel? Hell no! Better VFX & Fighting sequence? looks more modernisation but doesn't suit at all. (The DC version wasn't perfect either, but that one wasn't this much garbage.) I'll not talk about the cast, as that would seem like a very biased opinion, but that really played another major role in this downfall, that's for sure. But if one didn't watch the previous adaptation and wants to watch a better adaptation that sticks to the novel, they should watch it. But if one wants to watch the adaptation of the novel but doesn't give a fuck about how much it's originated from the novel, they should go for the previous adaptation, as that was genuinely funny and enjoyable to binge watch. Not this forcefully silly acting! Lastly, I want to say they need to give us justice for Bibi Dong, Xiao Wu, Fu Lan De, Liu Er Long, and Zhu Zhu Qing (the previous actors who really acted well in the previous adaptation, but the actors here just...)
can someone give me a reason why i should continue this series? i stuck in ep 6
I'm at episode 9, and honestly, I don't know why I'm watching this episode. The real motive is to find out what's going to happen at the end when ML will recover his past memories, but honestly, that motivation is also fading away slowly due to this annoyingly poor writing and lack of chemistry.
I just want to know why!? It could've been much better if they just hadn't made anything at all. First they named this the sequel version of 2018's Dog Shit Live adaptation; secondly, they didn't make it the continuation of season 1 end; and thirdly, it's even more dog shit compared to the 2018's version. For the first time ever, I really wished I could've rated it negatively out of 10.
Xiao Yi Xian, daughter of Hai Bodong! ...... WTF! Marriage proposal between Xiao Yi Xian and Xiao Yan: Hell yeah! Although I know it's impossible, I always wanted Xiao Yan and Xiao Yi Xian together, from the novel to anime and even in that shitty manhua. But there was never a green line for them, but only friendship with a vague line of love (obviously except for that shitty manhua). But it seems it's not possible, even in this story. Xiao Yi Xian was there for Xiao Yan in every type of story, but Xiao Yan never appreciated those feelings.
It still hurts! The same chemistry problem there was with ML, but ML looked so good with SFL. But that childhood trope power was just unbeatable! Sigh!
Initial thoughts of episode 7: FL & SML looked too close, whereas ML looked like the third wheel there. The way FL was looking at SML, way too sus! Like she was feeling guilty towards SML. No way I can imagine FL & ML ending the game at this point. Let's see what's going to happen further in episode 7.
Sounds intriguing!๐๐๐

Please for fuck sake stick to the novel.
