My friend I wont watch it, I had a feeling it wasnt a good drama, you know why? Because the main lead actor, although he is handsome and has some talent (I guess) I don't find him convincing in his acting AT ALL, and any of his dramas I never watch... I just don't. There aren't any feelings of hate or anything, I just don't care for him. The lead girl did a good job in Rooted Tree, but that doesn't mean she is an awesome actress or anything. So, that said, I'm not going to watch further. I did watch first episode and I was like BLEH, MEH, IS IT OVER? lol

I think what you wanted was something that in time travels, cannot happen. Why? Because given that they base the different lives in the same theory as the movie Deja Vu: that we live parallel lives and one may cease to exist at any moment, while the other one continues. That said, his present life (the one you refer to as future)

Oh but I just remembered that if its on the top 5 of any of my friends list I MUST WATCH IT no matter what. Because I'm doing a challenge that compels me to.
That said, I don't want to watch it. It is a rip off Time Between Dog & Wolf with better production team and pretty actors (whoever else reads this here will mark me as their nemesis for life, -___- sorry) But I cannot take it seriously after watching TBD&W.

Takeshi is Taiwanese, his mother is Taiwanese and his father Japanese; he was born in Taiwan and although he lived part in Taiwan and part in Japan he always considers himself Taiwanese since he was born there; I think he lives there as well now.
City Hunter. Hmmm...I started watching it because a lot of my drama friends love it and obsessed over it while airing. I wasn't going to watch it, after my favorite drama Time Between Dog & Wolf there is no spy drama I can ever like, not even LBH's IRIS.
Anyway, while watching CH I realized they attempted to create a better Time Between Dog & Wolf with a bit of a different story, but basically I can see where the story is going, the big spoiler and all. I had it on hold for months, I come back here and admit to myself I won't finish it, so I dropped it.

Yes I agree. On that note, I see you added Nine (the time travel drama) to your PTW.
Let me know as you watch what you think of it. I have finished it and my rating being a 10 at first, was lowered at the end for reasons I wont say not to spoil it.
I watched Long Love Letter which has a similar message to this drama, but LLL is more about humanity as a whole, and NNTT is about fate. I really cannot say if you will like this or not because I gave up on figuring that out hahahahaha...I'll just wait for your thoughts on it. ;)

You dropped Man in love drama... why?? Tell me it sucks, I wanted to watch it but I dont have a feel for overly melodramatic stuff atm, so I put it on hold I think. Im not sure. I have the feeling is not that good.

However, all time travels have loopholes (that is a known fact) because it is not real, only a theory and as far as going back to the past and changing stuff, messing the future up, and yadi yadi, it is one of the toughest stories to come up with. The message of the story in this case is that you cannot beat fate, however he did saved his brother at the end, or so we are left thinking...maybe it goes on forever.
That being said, the message is a bit tricky because is basically being applied to the writers advantage. They fall in love no matter what (cannot beat fate) but he saves his brother (beats fate)Also, I found that the idea of gaining new memory as it is created was a bit off at some parts of the story, like it was way to convenient and way too surreal. But this being a surreal theme I guess it can be forgiven.
What are your thoughts?

Well as you have finished it I can spoiler this for ya hahaha, I hated the jumps in the last episode, they were trying to show us how their new lives were and how you cannot beat fate because she still fell for him and he for her and so on, but they could have shown that with one or two jumps, not 5 or as many as they did (I cant even remember, thats how bored I was during that part) Basically I was screaming: END ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!! So that lowered it to an 8, but my feelings for the drama overall cannot allow my objective side to take over, so I -for now- gave it a 9.
The last part of the drama was awesome, I swear I thought at some point in the story, that he might be the man his brother sees in the cold mountains.
I like that they waited for the end to show us this because it means he fixed what he initially wanted to fix (his brother's death) without messing up the future.

I obsess over men with long hair, that look sexy in it of course lol. I saw him first in Guilty and that was love at first watch hahaha. Then I went to look for more of his dramas, I have no darn clue how is it that liking him and Shota-kun as much as I do, I didn't start Love Shuffle before. Now it appears strange forces don't want me to. Every time I start the episode something happens lol. Still, I shall prevail!

Yes. He is so incredibly hot every time you look at him.

I understand you (about mainstreams) I hate Twilight and Titanic...both I liked the very first time I came in contact with them, and as soon as both became the obsession of every other person around me I started dislike them until it became hatred. I cant stand Twilight nor Titanic, and I have good reasons not to aside from that they became mainstream.
Ill have to take some time to tell you my reasons, but on the surface, yeah, bleh....everyone raves about them, I shall not!!! LOL. That's my rebel side. ;)

Frankly I had all these Japanese dramas added to my currently watching, but Im too lazy to look for good links as it is the constant painful case with J-dramas, that there arent many sites with good links and the one I frequent (dramacrazy) some times takes for ever to sub, which is one reason I lost interest in MONSTER. I was watching it last year, but never mind that...I have Fuyu no Sakura as a potential obsession since I like samurai stories. I think that is the one right? And plus it has Hotaru hahaha, she is lovely.

I will try all you recommended, its time I start watching some J-dramas. I miss them. <3

Any Japanese shows to recommend? I'm trying to watch Love Shuffle but something always happens that prevents me from it, so I have put it on hold for now lol. Anything else that might not have a problem with me watching it? hahaha.

Oh hahahaha, he isn't. I don't think he will be again, or at least any time soon. He is now working on his Hollywood career. Been doing action movies there, like GIJoe and RED2.
