I recently heard this story which puts in clarity what I mean about spoiling a kid/spoiling a story.
The kid had done something wrong which he knew would cost him not going to the movies, but he had to try nonetheless to plead to his mother who loved him very much. He asked if he could go to the movies, he said he was sorry for doing what he did, that he had learned his lesson, so could he please go to the movies? The mother said NO, he cannot go. The kid then thought of the last resort, a mother is always weak to her child's cries, so the kid started crying and saying he was sorry but he wanted to go to the movies, he kept crying, and crying. The mother then said to him: If you don't cry you are not going to the movies, and if you cry you are still NOT going to the movies.

The end of this drama doesn't tell us if he married the mother, nor it tells us if they are living together still, but it tells us they are together however that might be. They all found each other, learn from each other, and were thankful to have each other. Beautiful ending, just like the one in King of Drama. I mean, I really thought that if he got cured of blindness it would be like spoiling a kid; giving him everything he wants just because you love him.

However both come to understand that because of other people, in the case of Jang Hyuk it was the mother and daughter (both) and I would probably lean more toward the daughter, sure he fell in love with the mother, but the little girl changed everyone's heart.
He was a doctor, but not a very kind doctor because the bad part of society was rotting him inside. Then he stopped being a doctor, but he couldn't very well refuse that pure part of himself. Living with the mother and daughter brought that out in the way it should have been always, as something you do because you love it, and as something you do with pride and certainty, not thinking about the ones living but only thinking about the one who's life is in your hands.

Another example, and this one is another Korean drama that is not more popular but we both like :)
Thank You: In this drama the main character is Jang Hyuk, although the mother and daughter are also protagonist, they aren't really the heroes of the story, and as they do not change drastically or learn something out of doing something else, they aren't main characters. I have learned they can be three things, protagonist, hero, and main character, and the three things can be exist in one character as well. Following Jang Hyuk, our main character, just like Anthony was our Hero and main character, both start their story being someone they are not because of society, and how they perceived life; they have the wrong disposition toward life.

Even when the works are of fiction, the writer is thinking (or a good writer, or one with the good intention of being a good writer lol): "you are going to get whats coming to you. You started this journey thinking this and doing that, affecting other people's life with your actions and words, and now you need to show the reader this wasn't all for nothing."
Pride and Prejudice: both were prejudice and proud, both ended falling for each other and having to let their guard down. To the reader it might seem like it was a win and not a lose, and true, in the overall aspect of it, it was a win. Love always is a win. But I have experienced falling in love with someone I don't wish to fall in love, and let me tell you its not a nice feeling when it happens, later you have to give up to the feeling and things are okay, but at first I hated that I was becoming weak to this feeling.

Exactly all of what you said now was right on. And that is what makes a good story, that the end puts closure to the beginning for better or worse; that the character either grows and matures, or learns a lesson and ends in a better or worse situation but certainly a situation that he/she deserves to be in given his actions at the beginning of the story. I'm not saying because people do something bad they deserve something bad, humans should not hold grudges or desire any evil to any other human. But life itself will punish and give you what you deserve in time, and as a writer you HAVE to implement this in your story, no matter what it is. Because it wouldn't be a teaching to the reader.

However I still would have preferred for him to be more subtle, but that is asking a lot from an actor that is not that great, he is okay in my book. Actually I think this drama was his best role by far.

However, it was not enough for a man's death. A life for a life, he didnt go through enough for it to be fair, I think blindness took away from him the dream of being King of Dramas again which is the perfect way of atoning for what he did. Although not deliberate, it was as if life was giving him what he deserved for taking another life sorta speak.
In the case of Siwon's acting, yes, he overacted in some parts. But I took it as part of the whole overlydramatic climate of the story. This story was a spoof of the trials and tribulations the production behind a drama suffers in real life. They took reality and made it funny by make it overlydramatic, so it was not a fault in writing, but an actual tool. That was my perception of it, and so Siwon's acting comes into play.

I have yet to write my review which will be in a few days. Im currently having a Siwon month at my blog.
But to be honest with you I think this drama was flawless. I understand some things that become cliche can make you feel like it was not necessary for the story, however in this particular drama I felt that he needed to have some sort of atonement for what he did in the first episode, he basically was the one responsible for a man's death. He didnt mean for that to happen but it did because of his ambitions. Now, he did changed, or more like he let his front go, the wall he had put up against the world crumbled down when he fell for the writer, and so the better part of him came out. So it was not really a change but an improvement.

This is pretty amazing, and scary at the same time. I always wonder if I would have to move eventually in 50 years from now, because we have been warned the waters will rise and the east coast will be covered. Of course, 50 years from now Ill be 80 LOL. Who cares then right? Ill rather die with the fishes than move to the country side... OR I can always move to the west coast. I think that is a much appealing idea. Haha.
Im moving to a new house. I have moved in fact, and it.is.a.MESS. Hate it hehe, but I love it at the same time. I have a view of a lake and I can have my wine while feeding the birds there in the afternoon. Then again, the waters rising and a lake in my backyard? hmmm...

Hugs my dear friend.
Don't disappear on me, you know I love attention. :p

Rita???? Are you okay? I worry because I saw a footage of Venice flooded because of the water rising. Its horrible, and yet fascinating in a way. Sorry if I sound like an arrogant artist from the 60s.
I was hoping you weren't getting much of the nature force in your house. We too have been warned that in 50 years from now waters will rise and we will be under water so we have to move up north and west.

Im doing okay, moving to a new place, its horrible. lol. Hugs my friend, :)

Watching the first 10 min and I'm in LOVE!! The beginning is kinda explaining how dramas is taking over the world!…
It is... this drama is one of the best out there atm. They have managed to write the sad truth of the entertainment world and make you laugh about it. How great is that?? In the other hand, now we learn to appreciate who is behind the drama a bit more.
