I think its extremely hurtful to disparage this « kind » of women, because women who are bubbly, happy-go-lucky and wear their heart on their sleeve exist!
They have a right to be portrayed and show that strenght exists in many many forms.
Heroine wears all kind of cap. Not everyone has to be a girl-boss with an attitude.
Sweet, quiet and loving people are heroes too, in their own way .

Completely! I have just rewatched the full drama, and you can clearly see how her portrayal of Orchid has changed, as Orchid changed herself.

DFQC looks like a baby who has just come to this world, uncorrupted and pure. I dont want his heart to be broken because of a stupid misunderstanding. I dont think I could survive seeing him hurt….

She has been bloody incredible these past episodes. I just adore her.

I think DFQC is the most wholesome male character ever written in C-dramaland.
I can not even express how much and how deep who he is moved me.

At the end of episode 18, they have told us what is going to break our babies in love:

- possible misunderstanding around Orchid’s feelings. Imagine DQFC hearing the conversation she had with Jieli about her faking it?😱

- DFQC will not give up his warpath and Orchid wont forgive him if he is set on annihilating her people. In the episode anime intro, there is a moment where they are back to back and in their hair are represented the two realms. It could be a symbol of the war tearing them apart.

-Lets not forget ChangHeng that is stuck in jail for wanting to help Orchid. I think that if Orchid will hear about it, she will want to go save him, and saying that its not going to sit well with DFQC is an understantement. Lets remember that he saw her marrying Changheng in the Destinty’s tree.

THEORY TIME ^^ About the Ancien Sword ChengYing,
DFQC said that they could break the Xilan Holy Seal if one of the two person cursed was killed by the ChengYing Sword.
My theory is that our Orchid days will be numbered once the sword will be found, thats the only way for her to die without provoking the death of DFQC. So possibly either she will kill herself using this sword or someone will kill her with it, and that could be how she will be respawn in the Mortal Realm!
